I joined Medium 5 months ago, and as of today, I have 1700 followers. When I joined back on November 12, 2021, I faced the prospect of getting 100 followers and it was intimidating. However, 5 days later, I reported that I did manage to make my target!

During my journey, I wrote many tips and tricks that will help you get your first 100 followers and more. For your convenience, I am including all my articles here so you can read and apply these all my strategies that I discovered during my 5 months journey on Medium.

Why do you need 100 followers? Essentially it’s so that you can join the Medium Partner Program which allows you to make money with your articles. You get paid based on the reading time, and in addition, you can make money by getting referrals. Check out the requirements here.

Please ensure that your country is part of the program but if it isn’t, don’t sweat. You can ask your readers to tip you with apps like buying you a coffee, etc.

I know that’s a lot of information to read. I suggest you select an article that appeals to you. It might be the title, or you can randomly choose an article. If you read all the articles you will get the added advantage of retaining all my tips and applying them easily. Or you can try to read one article a day.
