How To Get 100 Followers And More

I got over 300 followers in 10 days using these methods

I’ve been on the Medium platform and struggled at first to gain followers. On my 10th day, I woke up and got 300 followers. If you followed me, you may have learned that I got my 100th follower on my birthday November 17th — about 5 days after I started writing on Medium.

The steps I used to gain followers are not new. I learned some of these methods from other writers seeking followers. Other methods I have learned from experience. When people read my articles, I noticed that the ones who are still struggling are not implementing any of the strategies written in my articles or other places. Here are some tips:

1. Implement the strategies written in the article. If you read and do not take action, your followers will remain the same.
2. Follow other writers. I have noted that many of the writers with weak followers are shy about following other people. Some have asked me for a follow when they haven’t even followed me! If you start following other writers, chances are great that they will follow you back. I am always courteous and practice what I preach. You can say that you would appreciate a follow because you have some great articles. Engage. Communicate, follow and clap. Some writers with over 1000 followers in their first 3 months make it a habit of following lots of people.
3. You can also write an article about how you need followers. This approach was a game changer and I still get lots of followers from this article. When you write the article, include methods to help others get followers, too. If you make it one-sided and it’s all about you, it’s not very interesting and people may not take action. Take your time writing. I generally write a draft and walk away from the story and read it again to ensure there are no major or minor grammatical mistakes.

4. Read and engage. That means you read the article and make a comment that you are a new writer, and would appreciate a follow because you also have great stories to tell. You can also engage with other commenters and reply to them the same way. Read as much of the comments that you can and tell others that you would appreciate help to gain followers. I spent about 30 minutes each night using this approach.

5. Write more articles and try to get into publications.
