Tips for new medium writers

I started medium November 12 2021 and I am finding the journey rewarding at all levels. My writing is better, thanks to the built-in grammar checker and I am so happy to find a community that is so engaged.

I have never found any medium writer critical of other writings. Everyone that I have encountered has been so positive, respectful, and helpful. If someone needs followers, people are happy to help.

As of today, I have 1438 followers and it's my 96th day on medium! I am grateful for every follower!

I have written several articles on getting followers, and if you are new to medium or need followers, I am happy to recap. New medium writers need to have 100 followers to get the medium partner program. Be sure that your country qualifies for this program.

My Top Five Ways To Get Followers Are Here Now:

1. Engage, clap comment on other writers. You will hopefully get some medium writers who will read your article and follow you, too. You just have to ask.
2. In every article that you write, mention that you would appreciate a follow or subscribe to your email so that readers can get the latest stories from you.
3. Write articles. Aim for several times a week, then aim for once a day. When you write more, increase your output to 2 articles a day, or more.
4. Write for publications. Publications will give you a bigger readership and hopefully more followers.
5. Write an article on how you need 100 followers. It worked for me and it will work for you!
