I Got My Birthday Wish Of 100 Followers! A Big Thank You

Yesterday, I posted that I celebrated my birthday and I expressed my desire to get 100 followers. When I went to bed a few hours before midnight on November 17, I was thirty away from reaching this goal. The next day, I woke up and got my goal, plus more followers as well.

Now for some tips for new writers seeking followers:

3 words: Engage, Comment, Follow.

Read and comment on your fellow writers and never give up hope. You can also write comments in articles about getting followers and this is where I got most of them. I also followed lots of publications and other writers. I tried Facebook Medium groups and only got moderate success. The biggest support I got was through Medium, itself — its writers.

A special ‘Thank you” for Ayoub Bouamri who wrote several articles about how to get followers and I used many of his tips.

I started this journey less than a week ago after reading Ayoub Bouamri’s article about how to get followers within 24 hours. I didn’t quite make it in 24 hours, but I am still happy.

I am thrilled to continue along my writing journey and will endeavor to entertain, inform and maybe even make you laugh. Here’s what I am working on: stories about Elon Musk, eBay, Facebook Marketplace, George Orwell, James Bond movies, and a whole bunch of other stories that are close to home and not so close to my backyard: I may write about my amazing experience witnessing the Solar Eclipse of the Moon.

Don’t give up hope, new writers. I am there to support anyone who needs help, too.
