Context.

I normally don’t write these types of stories. This is an exception. I write about leadership, technology, health, self-improvement, mental health, lifestyle, and cognitive science topics on Euphoria.

This letter is a kind response to Tessa Schlesinger, who left a message about me on a curated masterpiece penned by Dew Langrial, a top writer and senior editor of ILLUMINATION and ILLUMINATION-Curated, which together support over 16,000 Medium writers and thousands of Medium readers.

I have no connection with Tessa so far, and I have had no conversations on Medium or on social networks with her. She, however, has left a few comments about me in articles. Tessa asserts that “I have researched this guy thoroughly.”

Even though Tessa criticizes me and attempts to dent my reputation by calling my leadership a “con”, I take this as feedback and an information request. Hence I am sending this post based on her public comment.

I have no hard feelings for Tessa. I believe she is a good writer who is trying to make sense of this complicated and convoluted virtual world. However, her comments need to be addressed as they don’t reflect reality.

Here is the link to the comment publicly available on Medium.

In case the comment is deleted, I took a screen capture to keep the context.

Dear Tessa,

Thank you for your fascination with my profile and for checking out my background. I am humbled by your interest and efforts.

First, let me clarify that I never claimed to work with Open Group. All my professional and social media links show I am certified by the Open Group. My profile on LinkedIn and other networks depict my L3 Distinguished Certification validating my 37 years of experience as an IT professional.

The esteemed organization, Acclaim, validates the credentials of Information Technology professionals based on their skills and experience certified by large business organizations.

Since you couldn’t find any evidence of my Open Group certification here is a simple approach to help you achieve your goal.

Here are the steps.

Please start the Google search engine.

In the search bar please type “Dr. Mehmet Yildiz Distinguished Architect.”

You will see 61,900 entries as shown in the screenshot.

I know, too many entries, but don’t worry. The Google algorithm is brilliant and puts the most credible links in the top 10.

So Google knows that Credly’s Acclaim is a globally recognized company verifying certification for thousands of large business organizations such as Microsoft, IBM, Apple, Google, and many more.
