Greetings poets,

I hope you are enjoying the prompts of the Lifeline Poetry Challenge. If you didn’t read the first ten prompts, here you can find out the previous prompts.

I am so sorry for being late with prompt as I suffered from a cold. I apologize for being late.

In this time of healing from the cold, I was thinking of showing some kindness to myself.

In my life, kindness is of great value to me. I can’t compromise on that. Kindness is the basis of human life

Even, in my culture, all the things taught me to be kind since my childhood. By being kind, you can make someone smile. By being kind, you can help two souls the one is yourself and another one is the person to whom you are offering your kindness.

Kindness is a great way to make this world a more humble and safe place to live. We can raise our next generation with great values and ethics. Since childhood, my parents taught me never to do things that hurt someone. Show your goodness by being kind to others.

On the other side, we are being more concentrated on being kind to others. However, we never thought of being kind to ourselves.

Self-love is a great thing to boost your self-esteem. Showing kindness to yourself helps to heal yourself. When I was suffering from a cold, I realized that sometimes we become too much busy in our life that we stop taking care of ourselves.

Therefore today’s prompt is,

How do you show yourself kindness and compassion each day? Is there something special things you do for making yourself feel special?

Do you have any routine that you follow to improve your health and fitness which is one type of kindness?

Do you do something special for yourself when you are feeling low in life?

Remember before you are being kind to others never forget to show yourself some kindness first.

You are unique and you deserve all the love and care. Take care of yourself because the temperature is increasing a lot in India and even in Canada and US. The Omicron variant is also spreading in my city and everywhere in the world. Follow all the regulations and social distancing to help yourself and others as well.
