Never Too Busy To Share Good Stuff

I’ve been busy. MABLE has been keeping me busy. Mainly firefighting — figuratively speaking — but not too busy to bookmark some good articles for when a coffee break can be snatched. Though I was disconcerted to find that my coffee break list had grown to 20.
However, I got around to them. they were an excellent crop, so I’m going to share and hope that you can find something in here too.
Good Eating!
Sometimes I try out these recipes, sometimes I just savour reading about them and enjoy the photos. I always leap upon anything culinary from Kris Bedenian. She has a talent for just hitting the spot.
Sanghita Pal is a relatively new find for me, but I’m loving what I see.
Yay! Good To See Your Name In My Feed
It’s a while since Denise Darby has appeared — here’s why:
Barb Dalton 🇺🇦 too — she’s been missing:
A Rare Bit Of Fiction
I don’t know why — habit of some sort I suppose — but I rarely reach for fiction at the same time as coffee. However, I will make an exception when David Perlmutter pops up in my feed. He paints great word pictures with his quirky style.
Reliable Collections
Here’s where I go when my own list lets me down. Katie Michaelson, I love your walkabout stories:
There’s always a lot in a collection from ILLUMINATION Amplifier, but they’re well picked. Since they picked one of mine I guess you could say that I’m biased, but I stand by my judgement. The one about right, truth, and normality (and the anecdote about Barry) if you were wondering.
Sahil Patel is another who takes pains over the collections he puts together, which makes them worth following.
His latest spotlight is on the writer, Grace Leverich who I have bookmarked, not to read (I’ve already read), but because the system pulled one of its annoying glitches and didn’t allow me to follow her.
Happened To Take My Fancy
This one from Linda Caroll caught my eye as it was about plagiarism, and also I know that Linda’s articles are always worth reading — I particularly recommend this one for what she has to say about fake accounts. It’s something we all need to know.
Although it’s an interesting story she’s delved into, it was an aside about lists that particularly caught my eye. I know this whole article I’m writing right now is about me using a list for bookmarking, but I too cheered the introduction of lists for the fact that I could use them to sort and catalogue my own content.
I often read Kristina God. This one caught my eye for its headline. I’m happy where I am on the readers/writers/interaction scale so I know I’m unlikely to follow any of the tips here — I’m sure they’re good but when would I find the time? The topic interested me and Kristina writes well.
It’s been in the news lately. Who am I kidding? It has been the only thing in the news lately, and I recall reading about this incident so couldn’t resist reading Maria Rattray’s article and tipping in my twopennoth (as we say in these parts).
The headline caught my eye — the Marilyn Munroe more than the looking up the dress, but Mark Tulin is always good for a new angle so, of course, I bookmarked it.
Old Favourites
I can never resist one of Susan Alison’s, especially when I can see her artwork sitting right there with the headline:
I’ve been following Ellie Jacobson’s 30-day challenge. 30 days! And she’s keeping it up. In fact, I’m the one falling behind. There were 2 waiting for me in the current list and I’m clearly not reading them in order. Whatever you’re on, Ellie, I want some.
Anne Bonfert will always make this list. And once again, she’s here twice, so I really have been falling behind. In the first one, she’s highlighting someone else’s travels for a change:
There are rarely any 6-word photo stories on my list because I tend to read them rather than bookmark them — everyone has time to read 6 words, right? I know, it doesn’t always work that way, and it’s a factor of how busy I was that this one of Ellie Jacobson’s is one of two 6-worders on the list:
Of course, Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles is a favourite. She writes articles that just give you a lift, a smile, or some fascinating snippet that you didn’t know. Who could doubt that she’s the perfect host?
The coffee cup is drained. Work is calling. I’m refreshed from both the caffeine and the reading. Thanks to all the writers. And to the readers. I hope you’ve found some good reading in here too.
