Finally!
Day fourteen of the Refresh the Soul 30-day writing challenge

Days upon days lost
excavating missing words
Flow found. Keep digging.
Write a haiku
I took the above photo a few days ago after finally writing after a dry spell. It wasn’t writer’s block per se but a struggle to fix the novel I’ve been working on. Plot issues. Which direction should I go next? That way? This way?
I was heading into frustration-ville and I needed a new course of action.
I’m sure I’ll face more forks in the road, but this one was stretching way too long. To beat the block, I pulled myself away from my computer, grabbed a notebook, and went to bed. In other words, I changed my writing routine. I wrote at a time I don’t normally. In a place that I don’t usually write, at least for my novel.
Sometimes changing it up, releases you enough to find that writing flow again.
What about you?
When the words are stuck, how do you unstuck them?
