3 Tips To Help You Maximize The Benefits of Your Spiritual Awakening
Never forget the root cause of all suffering

1. Don’t Get Attached to Anything
The moment you wake up and unplug yourself from the matrix, you separate yourself from the world and so an attachment to the world and the things in it is guaranteed to bring you great pain and suffering.
There are a lot of things going on with you spiritually as you awaken— things you will not see with your physical eyes. These unseen things and energetic changes happen beyond what the physical eyes can see and they happen by the command of God and your higher self. This means that you’re not always in control, so when you get attached to things of the world, you’re setting yourself up to have a really hard time.
The moment you get attached to a person, place, or thing, you’re holding on to things that can be removed or taken away from you. When you get attached to things of the world, you hold on to the things which hold you back from ascending.
This is why twin flames can be so distracting. The moment you label a person your twin flame, there’s a big reason to become attached to them. Ask anyone in a twin flame relationship and they’ll tell you about their constant suffering.
Do not conform to the patterns of this world. Attachment is the root of all suffering.
All spiritual processes happen quickly in the present moment, but because the brain is a physical matter of the 3D world and is dependent on time, it needs time to be rewired. This is why even after receiving an energetic upgrade, there may still be lingering old thought patterns that sometimes keep repeating in your mind. The brain tends to hold on to memories of the past and obsess over the future which makes rewiring it very difficult. Old ways of thinking will die hard, but you have to be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
After an awakening, your greatest battles will take place in your mind. The mind becomes a battleground. You may be doing fine going about your day and a single negative thought pops into your head that threatens to shake and bring you down.
The trick is learning the art of detachment from thoughts and observing negative thoughts like passing clouds without judgment. The goal is to observe thoughts and bring rebellious thoughts into captivity, and teach them to obey you by refocusing your mind.
An awakening is already hard as it is and negative thoughts don’t help, but you are doing the best you can and you must constantly remind yourself that and be compassionate towards yourself.
The brain goes in the direction of the mind, focus your mind on things above and not on earthly things.
Refocusing on other things is important when negative thoughts arise. You have to master identifying certain thoughts as false. Just because you think a thought doesn’t mean it’s true.
Attachment to thoughts, people, and places will always lead to unnecessary suffering and a delay in the awakening process. Detachment from thoughts and letting go of people who distract you ensure that you stay focused as you deepen your awakening.
2. Don’t Stop Your Spiritual Practices
Many people make the mistake of stopping their spiritual and self-care practices as soon as they start to feel grounded in their awakening. They may have prayed, fasted, read sacred books, and meditated on them, but as soon as they feel fine, they stop doing those things or forget to do them.
It’s a big mistake because the only reason you got grounded is because of those spiritual practices and so when you stop doing them, it’s natural that you start feeling ungrounded again and when you’re ungrounded, it’s easy to wobble, and fall.
Those spiritual practices are like physical hygiene. No matter how sparkly white your teeth become after brushing them, another day comes and you must brush again. You brush it again and again to keep good physical hygiene. Spiritual hygiene is equally important as physical hygiene. It continues to be important even after you’ve grounded yourself.
Spiritual practices are so important because they move energy. Everything is energy and is quickly absorbed from all around you and it cannot be destroyed as it remains within you. Prayer and meditation, Qigong, Tai Chi, tapping exercises, taking walks, journalling, etc are all practices that can help move energy through and out of you.
Even after your awakening cycle ends, you can’t stop your spiritual practices. You must continue moving energy daily so your system does not get clogged up.
The more you continue your spiritual practices, the more you deepen your awakening.
3. Continue Deepening Your Awakening
Awakening isn’t meant to end. It’s meant to be deepened. Just because one awakening cycle has come to an end doesn’t mean you get to go back to living as you did when you were plugged into the world. You continue to deepen and open up your heart.
You continue to release your attachments to the things of this world and continue your spiritual hygiene practices daily. You continue to open up to life like a flower and stay connected with God, yourself, and the universe.
You deepen your awakening by understanding that love is the greatest of them all. The more you love yourself, the easier it is to love others. And the more you love others, the more you want to serve them.
The greatest among them is the servant.
Your awakening deepens as you step into service roles. For you to be able to love and be of service, you must continue to open your heart so that it can be filled with an abundance of love, life, and light that will eventually overflow and spill over to those around you.
Every awakening cycle will come with its own struggles and its own dark night of the soul but you have to commit to opening up and never closing down no matter how dark it gets. When life gets hard, the ego will want to shut down to keep you safe, but you have to reassure your ego to stay calm and continue to open up.
As you keep opening up, you deepen your relationship with God, your soul, and the universe and you’re also open to receiving divine guidance, teaching, and instruction to lead you where you came here to go.
