🐘🐘Jan/Feb Poetry Prompt — Inner Voice

Closing your eyes and listening to your heart and surroundings what do you hear from your inner voice?

In case you missed our previous round-up. You can respond to any poetry prompt from DEP at any time.

Inner Voice

I am here and I am there. I am mostly anywhere and nowhere. Words and thoughts come and go. Hearing the sounds from the in-between.

The question flies in front of my eyes. Where will I go next? This moment I am in the quiet serenity of my entity. I am in peace.

I can hear the beat of my heart. I can see the painting that is brewing inside. I can see the words forming telling me to create the canvas of life.

Am I qualified?

Can I do what I feel and truly try to create a heart? The heart of Mother Earth?

I watch the wind blowing outside, I am in awe of the beautiful sunrise. I see the snow and ice colliding Creating the utmost beauty on the land.

I feel the cold that cuts into the skin. I feel the pain striking through the heart. My inner self screams. Stop all the violence my beautiful beings.

Hope strikes with the awakening of a song. Do sing my song, my dear. It helps ease my pain. Please show the world what you feel.

The world might not be ready to hear. I know you are.

Paint my heart. Paint the way you see it while singing my song. Inspiration strikes when you least expect it. A whispering voice tells you a secret.

Come and listen to the voice of your inner being. I am here to show you what can you create with the freedom of your soul. Paint my heart, Mother Earth tells me. You are ready.
