A Smile In The Winter Nights
In response to the December poetry prompt

The quiet winter evening was dark and bleak, Not a soul stirred outside as people stayed indoors, I smiled to myself looking at the lonely forsaken alley, No dogs or cats could be seen on the breezy cold street The morning will change this as people hustle to work.
This was the time to smile and spend time with self-love, A nice corner to watch Netflix or just relax in a corner, Look at yourself, love yourself in a mirror and smile, Accept your flaws and your positive points and enjoy, The evening is fit to dance with the music of choice.
Smile and love yourself, look sideways into the mirror, A smile in the winter nights, a gleam so bright, and warm, When frost adorns each window pane, a smile is a cozy flame. In the stillness of this wintry scene, A smile brings joy to share laughter echoes, serene and keen. It melts the icy, frosty air.
In the stillness of this wintry scene, my laughter echoes, loudly It melts the icy, frosty air, bringing joy, a bond we can share. Though darkness lingers, the night is long, my smile is comforting It whispers tales of hope untold, A spark of light amidst the cold. Live, love laugh, life is short make the best of a long and cold night.
Let us be happy to share our smiles in 2024! Happy New Year with a smile.😊
I have discovered that winter nights are very quiet. Not a soul stirs outside. People want to stay indoors in heated rooms and avoid the cold frosty wind outside. The last few days we have been going through a cold wave.
This is the time for some self-love and spreading joy through warm smiles. Even lonely quiet nights can turn into happy days if you relax and watch a movie accept your flaws and hope for a wonderful day the next day,
A smile brings a lot of warmth and happiness and takes away all the cold. let us make our winter nights into happy nights. Enjoy smiling and laughing in 2024 and the cold will take care of itself.
