Perceptions And Shifts For The New Year.

A poem from the heart

Photo while sailing on the Puget Sound

Stirrings of things to come. Shedding the old ways as if

removing a heavy, worn out wool coat.

Tough times are softening, losing their grip.

Bitterness and cold, metamorphosing into a

more pliable and smoother, yielding understanding.

Falling away, leaning towards, with a more open and forgiving heart.

An inner knowing, an acceptance and a coming into peace with a nod to the end of 2023 with understanding.

Pausing to let go of, yet remember where I came from

and knowing there is always a way of life working out, even in the darkest of times.

There is a sense of possibility! What can and will happen next?

Who and what will emerge from the cocoon?

A new beginning, a sense of excitement for what is to come.

Will I be ready? Will I embrace this “new me.”

A whisper from my inner voice tells me to not hold the reins too tightly.

“Dance” with the possibility of what’s to come with awareness and confidence.

New year, new beginnings, shifts in consciousness and way of being.

I am ready. Are You?
