Nostalgic FOMO

Remembering and building together a 4 month Jenga. (The FOMO here is the 1st 2 letters of Four & Months and yes FOMO in the actual too.)

Old Times Sake

There are always a few things that are better than memories. Do you know what they are? They are the reasons we made those memories, how we created them, and what made them live forever.

The New Normal that’s Now

It was one such day when the lockdown started during this quarantine period amid the COVID 19 pandemic; I thought, what should I do to keep myself occupied? And then I got a message from Medium in my inbox — Opened it and then realized I had been so busy that all prior emails had gone unnoticed about my membership, which had ended because of a billing address change on the card. Well, this came as a blessing in March, and I without a second thought joined medium as a member that very moment.

Being very fond of playing with words ever since I can remember … be it “Name-Place-Animal -Thing” game, Word Building, Spelling Bee, Scrabble, Pictionary, and growing up to writing poems, quotes, and a book that’s in the final stages now–my relationship with words is everlasting.

A strong one for sure–as I build it up like a game of Jenga — solid so that even if you pull out something, it won’t fall. And in case it shakes a bit, I’ll make sure to cement it back.

So, below you will find my Nostalgic Jenga and how I built it block by block each month four times. I have used my favorite blocks each month, which have held me strong. I truly hope you will have a good time reading through these below.

Well, so all I can I say is that in these 4 months, as I’ve stated above, literally the Medium journey has been that way. It’s only now that I feel, I have my feet here…but not that strong as the ground for me is still wet! I’m still learning, and thus you can see that I’ve ended this Nostalgic FOMO at my poem — The Learning Tree.

So all I can do is hope that I get a good ground — a permanent one to build my home with words here.
