Appetite For Life

What course meal do you prefer?

Everyone has an appetite for life and that is what keeps them going.

Some have a ravenous appetite whereas some are satisfied with whatever little fills them up.

Some are ready to fight, take up challenges and forever work on their hunger for achieving lots more than just what fills them up till satisfaction and beyond, whereas some just lie low with contentment and a few even give up.

I would consider the first ones fond of a 3 plus Course Meal, the second ones would be happy with just a starter followed by the main course and the third would just be satisfied with a simple meal if they get it.

Now, if we come to think of it, why is this difference there?

Is it because of the socio-economic conditions or their habits?

Are they inherently the simply satisfied kind existing without hunger for life or have they given up?

Are they scared to go ahead in life?

For a matter of fact do they not consider that “Challenges and Failures are the starters before the main course of accomplishment.”

Do they not believe in it?

It is so evident that the first ones do truly believe in this quote and live by it and that’s why they have that “ Never Give Up” attitude and truly enjoy all that life offers them. Be it in any number of courses and however much it fills them, as their appetites come in various sizes.

And coming to the second ones, they probably don’t have the full appetite as they get satisfied with the starters. I suppose that’s because they lack that push what’s needed to drive them beyond the challenges they face.

Now coming to the last category, the third ones… they are those who probably have run away at the first sight of failure. Like if they go to a fine dining restaurant, they just glance at the menu and come back. It’s because failure has broken them down and thus suppressed their hunger for life, making it so small.

So that’s about them, each one different from the other.

But what about you?

Do you have a hunger for life?

What size is your appetite for life?

As for me, I would always enjoy all my starters… even if they are filling me up. I’d eat and then give a break and restart again, savoring them and life. Each experience it offers at each stage presents an unfamiliar taste–be it challenges and failures and I shall carry on right till the end, till I get there and accomplish what I wish to.

Well now, let’s hear about you in the responses.
