Secret

HARA HACHI BU

A Way Of Life

My F.A.N Clan @Instagram

“HARA HACHI BU” Let this be your Mantra to Chant each time you sit down for a meal.

Chant it before you eat, so that it plays in your mind as you eat and even repeatedly till you finish eating.

This simple 3-word phrase is equally powerful to oneself as “I Love You” said to another. It’s a way of saying “I Love Myself” when followed, as it’s a little secret to a healthy and long life.

Now, what does Hara Hachi Bu mean? It simply means eating only till you’re 80% full.

Once you start eating 20% less each meal, each day, you are protecting your body from the cellular damage that occurs with wear and tear during the (which is strenuous when we are full or have overeaten).

But now the question that arises and which I am asked by many is “how do I know if my stomach is 80% full?” The only simple answer to this is “Stop eating when you are feeling full!”

Stay away from the extra side dishes, the desserts post-meal, the aerated drinks as well as all the crispy and crunchy foods. For these are like all those other things that give short-term pleasures but are the ones that cause us unhappiness in the long term.

So from today and now, let’s not indulge in short term pleasures in life.

And Simply remember to chant “ Hara Hachi Bu” to live a healthy, happy, and long life.😇
