Celtic’s Knight

In shining armour!

The sun had shied away

coz, it’s gonna be a night

to remember, anyway

as I–Celtic’s knight,

with words shall sway

the might to fight

all humor for today.

So when the great B. A. Cumberlidge.

tagged me in his quenching task,

it looked tough to cross the bridge

so I moved on and didn’t even ask,

if there is anything you expect

from me your shining knight,

for what I write you’ll interpret

in this funny challenge fight

that I named–Celtic’s Knight.

Here are all the writers and mentors

very talented and extremely bright,

be it first-time or published authors

it’s from them I’m learning to write.

Sitting in total pitch darkness

in a state of mesmerization,

there’s one thing I must confess

my only favorite is “Illumination”.

I had started to write it in the middle of last night

hoping to finish it sometime today with humor and all,

so I, Geetika Sethi join along with Celtic knights

Vic Alcuaz, Laura Manipura, Sinem Günel & Tara Blair Ball.

Hold on… as this challenge surely doesn’t end here

so let me grab an ice cream and some sweet toast,

before we sit down to play, Medium’s Musical chair

with serious Dr. Mehmet Yildiz & funny Charles Roast.

Ev Williams, when medium you started, did you know

the kind of weirdos, geniuses, rare writers you’d meet,

who would come into the limelight and steal your show

making their mark and swiping many off their feet.

Just to name a few favorites as per B. A. Cumberlidge.,

are Rasheed Hooda, Charles Roast & Timothy Key,

but I differ in choices of who’d cross this bridge

without being shy and expressing beautifully.

My choices as limited as I’m comparatively new

but are proficient enough to build a writer’s wall,

Kira, Arjan, Typewriter & Chowa to name a few

but my greatest choice is Gurpreet Dhariwal.

So here I end-armed with my Celtic attire

in spades, shields, daggers, and swords,

loaded with words is my inner knight to fire

all ready to win the Celtic Warrior Prompt award.

My dear Friends,

Let me start by saying sorry for taking up so much of your time to make you read crap. Hold on… if you read it till the end, maybe it’s not that bad.

As I got tagged in this prompt last night, I was half asleep and well found it interesting and luckily it stung me not letting me go to bed. So with the iPhone in hand and me in bed, I just started penning whatever came to my mind. And that what I continued this afternoon too. If you ask me… I haven’t redone it or read it over again too, as I have written it from my heart.

And I seriously hope you all enjoy it. Even if you did or you didn’t, please let me know in the responses as it’s from you all here that I learn and grow to someday steal the show. (haha) No intentions, as that was just a naughty bend before a lighter end.
