Lunch Break Love

Episode #15

While Vivianne and Harriette walked through the park, David was already there. He brought some delicious food for them. Even a bottle of white wine for Harriette and him. Even when it was still afternoon. ‘This is something to celebrate.’ His inner voice said and laughing while Vivanne and Harriette arrived.

David was happy to see Harriette. Her strong appearance with her own mind and raising a child alone. He admires her for that. Every time he sees her, he learns something new about Harriette and Vivianne. He wants to explore more.

Vivianne laid down the blanket she brought with her. It was her pastel green blanket with a brown violin on it. She got it last week from her aunt, who visited them unexpectedly.

David put everything on the blanket, Harriette poured a glass of wine for them and some lemonade for Vivianne, and Vivianne sat down and read the book she was reading. A book about one of the greatest violinists of this century: Alberto Contanini.

“Do you know he is one of the best violinists of the world, Vivianne?”

“I just read it, and I want to find out more.”

“I have a few CDs of him in his early years, but the recordings are very old.”

“Yeah, she is totally obsessed with everything contained in the violin.”

“I call it passion. And that is very good that Vivianne has it already at her age.”

Harriette took place at the huge blanket, next to David. His warmth felt incredible, his scent smelled sweet and fresh as flowers as well, with a little bit of lavender. She loved that a lot, which is a plus when dating a man.

Vivianne caught up in her book and almost in the middle of it. While she stood under the tree next to the blanket, she saw her mother a little laughing. Too loud in her opinion. ‘Why drinks she always more than one glass of wine when she dates?’ she continued reading and didn’t try to give mom attention.

Harriette drank one more sip of her wine. She stood up.
