Every Story Matters

My July stories.

Tree Langdon ♾️ asked writers to get along with sharing our July work. I love to participate in this challenge that Timothy Key initiated, just to show off the work we wrote in July.

Let’s start by giving respect and receiving respect. I believe that if we all give respect to one another, we will receive respect as well.

In this story I talked about why playing the violin makes me jealous in some sort of way. I love playing the violin, but as a child, I wanted to be a concert and solo violinist. This dream fell apart due to personal circumstances.

I wrote a story about how to market yourself as a musician.

And here is my testimonial for Desiree Driesenaar. I love her writing as well as her love for our planet.

I love experimenting with writing poems. I love that and it is a different way of writing.

Discussion about racism, injustice, and equality is still going on. I wrote about the Keti Koti celebration.

As well as the topic of racism, injustice, and equality is still going on, the Coronavirus is also around us. Sadly, but true. I try to write what is happening here in The Netherlands.

As I have a lot of personal issues that I have to face and I have to heal from, I am in therapy. I write about it as much as I can.

As writers, we want to get our name out, at least I do and I want to share my voice with all my experiences.

As a mother of three children, I have to give them consistency. Sometimes it is difficult. One of the reasons is I write a lot on my laptop and therefore I need to be on my laptop. But I don’t want my daughters to be on their screen all the time. So what to do?

Do you know what a misfit is? I didn’t, but I looked at it for the year 2020.

For a short time, I am in love with the 50-word stories. It is somehow challenging, but so much fun to play with.

I earlier wrote monthly gems because I believe in sharing other writers' work. Not only mine.

You can read more about me.

I love the idea of Timothy Key to show off our work. He challenged us, and I am grateful to take part in this challenge.
