Dishes and The Mug
Poem about doing the dishes and my mug.
You stand there on the kitchen counter Watching me cleaning your siblings Never be bored looking at me cleaning it
Making you clean never bores me Watching you in my crockery cabinet Clean, dry, and laughing
Ever never have I seen you looking at me weirdly Because you loved me and I loved you The way we do things are strange to others
Never ever have I been bored looking at you clean It makes me happy seeing you happy In the crockery cabinet making a dance
I will dance with you When we are ready doing it all over again Together in the sink
Me with my hands You with your ears Together we hold each other
Tomorrow I will drink coffee from you You throw it into my mouth While I taste you like it is everything to me
Every time I feel you I will feel the butterflies In my stomach, like itching the whole time I drink coffee To drink from you again the next morning
