Websites To Build Your Career in Online Writing
These websites I love to use and build my writing career in my beginner stage as a writer.
Writing is everything to me and I love writing. Since I write on Medium here, I write almost every day. I love to write about anything I love to write about. I don’t have a niche I write about on any of the platforms I write on.
I have a few sites where I write on to build my writing career. I have the ultimate dream to write books. Writing articles is also one of the things I learned with my course in journalism. Even I love it very much.
Earning more money from what I love to do because writing is a blessing in my writing career. And I can that this start is a wonderful one. Earning is not the goal itself, but the effect that becomes when you are deeply passionate about your writing career.
On my list as a writer, I want to write stories and articles that matter the most to me. Stories I have experiences in, stories I heard, conversations I had and so many other things from my life I will and I can write about.
During these 6 months into my writing career, I discovered a website you can write on and earn money as that effect of your passion writings.
Medium
Of course, I have to mention Medium. There are so many writers out here on Medium, that we don’t know who to follow, but you can follow anyone you want and fits with your reading needs. Those writers are terrific writers with so many ideas and in so many fields. It is fun to discover what you love writing about during your writing process.
Medium is a website where you can write about any topic you love. From history to music, from marketing to tips and tricks for moving to another house. One topic does better than the other topic.
Medium pays you because of your reading time. When your readers read your stories a lot, your earnings are increasing. It’s not only the reading time, but you also have to write often and publish your stories in different publications. You can even start your own publication. The fun part is that your stories will be published directly when you press the publish button.
Another interesting part (and fun too) is following other publications and follow other writers to get inspired. Highlighting parts in stories that you like, or that you be inspired.
Vocal
Recently, I discovered Vocal. It is a website that will pay your stories because of reading time by your readers. It is like Medium, writing in a text editor and go ahead. You can write about anything you love to write about.
Vocal has 34 communities to write for. When you write for Vocal, you just write, as you do here on Medium, and then you wait until the editors of Vocal let you know what they think, and what you can do better. I like this way of writing too. When an editor sees your work, you can be also a better writer. Once finished your story, you have to look into what community you want your story to be published. They’ll put you in a community after the editors read your story,
HubPages
HubPage is a website you can write articles on topics that matters to you. From the recipes, you love and tried, to your favorite history topics you are interested in it. These websites give you money based on the reading tome and the clicking from the adds between the blocks.
It’s a website that gives you personal experiences on the topic you write. It could be any topic.
When the editors read your story they’ll publish on a website they own. To get more exposure and reads.
WattPad
This site is a genius. It gives you the possibility to write your book. It is an online ebook, but so simple too. When you signed up for Wattpad, you can start writing your first book already.
Wattpad is a community you can read and even comment on each other's work. To be a better writer. Once your book is finished, WattPad is there for you to help you retailing your book, through the ebook business or just for readers in WhatPad itself.
You can read other books as well. This works with coins. You have to watch commercials on your phone and then when you got enough, you can finish it at once, or you can read pieces by pieces.
