Daily Success Stories from ILLUMINATION
Editorial News
ILLUMINATION serves 5248 Medium readers with 350+ writers

“Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.” — Benjamin Franklin
After reaching our 5th milestone yesterday, we made further progress in preparing for the 6th milestone in front of us. Our daily growth is noticeable from the increasing number of readers and the participation of several new writers.
In this post, I want to provide you with our progress made in the last 23 hours.
What did we create today?
Stories in the attached article were distributed to 5248 readers today.
LinkedIn Presence
After our presence on Twitter and Facebook, one of our editors Sylvia Love Johnson created a new site for ILLUMINATION on LinkedIn. You can find the details in the attached article written by Sylvia.
Since LinkedIn has a different culture than other social media platforms and has over 620 Million professionals, we are working on a social media strategy. To this end, one of our leading writers Arthur G. Hernandez created a story to discuss the strategy. Your input will be invaluable.
Flipboard Story Syndication
In addition, we worked on syndicating ILLUMINATION articles to Flipboard.
Please find the Flipboard Magazine I created today. It is called ILLUMINATION on Medium.
Other writers created ILLUMINATION Magazines on Flipboard.
The Flipboard Magazine by René Junge. It is called FLIPS.
The Flipboard Magazine by Brian E. Wish, PhD. It is called The Fifth Wall.
I recommend our writers to create their Magazines to create visibility of our stories. To learn how to create your Flipboard Magazines, please see the article from our writer Holly Jahangiri.
As mentioned yesterday, I syndicate all our stories to my blog by using RSS feature on Medium. This syndication enables Google to index our stories. Here is the link to my blog.
🦄 Chris Hedges also created a site to index all our stories on Google. You can access the site from this link.
Design Update
Our publication logo and avatar were designed by one of our entrepreneurial writers Tameem Rahman. With Tameem’s contribution, our publication has a a more professional look. Hope you enjoy the new look!
New Challenge for ILLUMINATION Writers
To enhance cross-pollination among our writers, I recommend each writer to interview at least one another writer in a story. The purpose of this exercise is to explore a writer on ILLUMINATION you don’t know yet. You can ask 5–7 key questions to understand their writing practice featuring sample stories of the writer. You can create an engaging story by featuring your selected writer with your creative description. I plan to use these interview stories as a collaboration building artifact for our writers.
New Writers of ILLUMINATION

A warm welcome to our new writers:

New writers are invited to join our Slack channel to have a chat and collaborate with other inspiring writers. We also discuss editorial matters, Medium policies, content quality, and overall writing skills improvement.

Submission Quality
Current writers, please check our submission guidelines authored by Kevin Buddaeus to ensure your articles are published on a timely basis. One key point delaying some articles are not citing the images. This is a simple point but essential for publishing your stories on time. We strive for excellence.
