Welcome to Lodestar Gazette’s weekly prompt corner. We’re dishing out creative sparks weekly every Monday, so watch this space; there is no rush. Write at your pace and tag us in your tales. We’re spotlighting standout stories from recent prompts — they’ve been smashing!

Weekly Prompts
Written Prompts:
1: A world plunged in shadow, a radio operator finds solace in static whispers. Ancient warnings emerge, guiding him to prevent history’s fatal replay.
2: The last heir of a magical dynasty finds an enchanted locket that reveals the true history of their lineage, challenging everything they knew about their powers.
3: On an ordinary street, a graffiti wall changes its images daily, depicting the dreams of those who pass by. A sceptical onlooker sees his dream and is drawn into a journey of self-discovery.
4: In a future where a tyrannical regime taxes dreams, a factory worker learns to dream in a language the government cannot understand.
5: Mirrors stopped reflecting reality; instead, they show what could have been if different choices were made.
