It’s time to build the base of a great community

Greetings Reciprocal writers,

First of all, heartfelt gratitude to all the writers of this community for supporting this community to grow more and more. Because of your constant support, Reciprocal has more than 65 writers on board and 65 followers in just three days.

“Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for.” —Zig Ziglar

Thanks for being a helping hand in creating this community. I am so sorry I would not be able to read more of your work because the cases of Omicron are increasing in my area. As I already told you about my viral infection earlier, today I am feeling really low and need to get proper medication. I will be soon back with great joy and enthusiasm. I will start reading all of your work, soon. This one was already a written post that I am sharing with you all.

As it’s hard to read every writer’s work in a publication as there are many stories that I publish in a day and it’s hard to find every story in the feed.

Therefore, I want to make it easy to show support to your fellow writers. I would like to make a WhatsApp group of Reciprocal writers, who will share their articles in the group. It’s not mandatory that you only post stories that are published in Reciprocal, you can post any stories you publish on Medium after all we all are here to help each other.

This will be crystal clear among all the writers and readers who are supporting the community and who are not. This will not be a group like any other Medium groups on Facebook where people post their stories and hide behind the curtains.

This will be a support group and will be made to create a supportive community.

No one is being forced to be added to this group if you are a writer of Reciprocal. This is completely your decision whether you would like to join this group or not.

Moreover, I choose WhatsAppp because it’s an easy-to-use app and everyone can easily excess it.

Rules of the WhatsApp group

  • You can’t post anything else other than your stories
  • You are allowed to share your perspective and comments on any story you read and liked
  • You are allowed to share thoughts and suggestions on how we can grow this community and readership
  • Always keep to the purpose of the group, don’t share irrelevant messages about other topics.
  • Don’t share irrelevant forwarded audio, videos, photos, messages, jokes in the group.

Anyone interested in being a part of this group can email me their WhatsUp number on Reciprocal email id. I will add you in the group.

[email protected]

The intent of making this group is to support each other’s writing regularly.

I would like to invite all the writers of Reciprocal to be a part of this group.

I am feeling great to see all of your efforts to raise this community. All of you have done a great job by sharing an article about Reciprocal. I don’t have words to show my gratefulness towards all of you. Here are the greatest articles I have received about Reciprocal from fellow authors.

Special thanks to Dr. Preeti Singh for sharing this wonderful piece about my journey on Medium. She is my true inspiration and mentor on Medium. Thanks a lot, Mam.
