Finding my tribe of people on medium has been a joy.

I began on this platform in May of 2020.

I was a stranger in a land that was not my own.

The atmosphere was not warm, I felt left out in the cold.

Joined some Facebook groups, I read others work but no one seemed to be reading mine.

I became discouraged.

Feeling lonely and without interaction, after some months I left.

But instead of waning, the call to write became louder.

The call beckoned me ceaselessly. I couldn’t stay away so I answered and returned home like the prodigal son.

That was when I happened upon a group of lovely supportive souls.

They began reading and interacting with my writing and that was so encouraging.

In keeping with the support I continue to receive, I take this opportunity to introduce Sahil Patel and his publication Reciprocal.

Sahil is a wonderful, gifted and thoughtful writer.

His heart is set on mutual growth for all writers on this platform.

Symbiosis is one of the paths he has chosen to allow all writers to grow.

First you write your heart out, hit publish, next you read other writers work while they read yours.

Please take the time to visit and consider joining Sahil Patel’s publication — Reciprocal.

And as the name suggests, we, as the writers and readers must do our part to re-cip-ro-cate.

I love the concept!

Imagine if we all read each other’s work — think of the engagement and success that would be.

In reciprocating, we will all get a piece of the pie, and success cannot be accomplished within a vacuum.

Success requires a community.

We would all get more exposure coupled with satisfaction validating the reasons why we rise each day and put our hearts on the line.

Imagine how great exposure it could be for all, especially newer writers on the platform.
