3 Ways The Holy Spirit Helps You Fulfill Your Calling
A new person is created who is capable of fulfilling the divine mandate

1. The Holy Spirit Qualifies You
“Who am I that God would choose me to do this work? ”
That is what I found myself continually asking when I felt called to this spiritual work of teaching. In those days, I was depressed and anxious. I had a child out of wedlock and did not feel worthy or qualified to perform the work, so I put my calling aside for many years, not believing I was good enough or even qualified to do the work.
Oftentimes, people don’t step into their calling because they don’t think they’re qualified. Because of their past mistakes or current insecurities, they are afraid to take on what they feel called to do, believing they are unqualified to do so. They don’t think they’ve got what it takes.
The truth is you don’t need to be qualified for your calling. It is the Holy Spirit who assesses your heart and qualifies you for the position.
You are empowered and authorized to fulfill your destiny when you spend time in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
When you spend time with the Holy Spirit through prayer, in the Word, and by worshiping God, something within you is transformed. A transformation occurs in your character and nature, and in that transformation, a new person is created who is capable of fulfilling the divine mandate.
You do not need to be qualified to fulfill your calling. You are qualified by the Holy Spirit within you.
2. The Holy Spirit Directs You
Once I finally decided to do what I was being called to do, my next excuse was that I didn’t know what to do. Since I was a child, I had written, but primarily for myself, and never for the purpose of teaching. I did not know where or how to begin to teach through my writing.
I overcomplicated things.
I was worried about the specifics of my calling. I was worried about the hows, wheres, and whos. How was I gonna reach and teach 100 Billion Souls? Where would I go to teach my message? Who’d listen to me?
But as I began to spend time with the Holy Spirit, I surrendered and he began to instruct and guide me.
I took a writing course to improve my skills. As part of the course, I was directed to this platform so I could practice my writing skills and eventually, I was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write my book.
By surrendering to the Holy Spirit’s leadership and guidance, I was shown exactly where to go and what to do.
Perhaps you are wondering how to hear the Holy Spirit. The answer is as simple as living a godly lifestyle of obedience, prayer, reading and meditating on the Word, and listening for the still small voice of the Holy Spirit.
You are guided by the Holy Spirit as you go, corrected as you obey and walk in the call of God.

3. The Holy Spirit Gives Power
You receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. There are many forms in which this power is manifested. It is the ability to write and teach the word of God without fear of judgment. It is the power to preach the word of God boldly without fear of persecution. It is a power that heals and works wonders and miracles or the power to be who God has called you to be.
The Holy Spirit gives you the power to perform the task that God has anointed you to do. It is that power you receive that backs God’s purpose. The miracles back the messages and the wonders back God’s word.
By giving you the power, you are also given the ability and the capability to carry out the Word and expand the Kingdom of God.
