Many are called

I. You See it

If you believe you’ve been called to do something, you don’t look at what’s right in front of you. You look as far as you can see.

Whatever it is you’ve been called to do, you have to be able to see it in your mind before you see it in reality. You have to see it on the inside before you see it on the outside.

Everything is built twice. First in your mind and then in real life. If you can first see it in your mind, then it’s easy to manifest it.

This will require you to have a vision. You need to have the vision to fulfill a calling. Before taking the leap, you have to see where you’re headed. If you take the leap without looking, you might end up in a pit.

What do you see in your future when you look as far as you can see? That’s the vision.

A vision is always given to the one who is called to do something. You’ve got to see the vision before taking steps toward it.

When I was called to write “100 Billion Souls,” I was given the vision and I could see it very clearly but it was way too big and it made it a bit impossible to fulfill. As the biggest introvert, writing a book that many awakened souls were to learn from was too big. I had many fears and doubts. The strange fear of fame and the doubt that I’m not good enough. I also feared that kind of mantle because mantles trigger spiritual battles.

Every calling has a distraction.

My fears and my doubts are distractions to my calling.

I still think it’s crazy faith to think I can get one person to read my book who isn’t already a friend. But I still went ahead and wrote the book because it had already been written in my mind.

You’ve got to see it before you see it happen. You have to believe what you don’t yet see before your eyes.

That takes faith and expectation.

II. You Expect it

Your faith and expectations will not be cut off. Faith is confidence in what you hope for and assurance about what you do not yet see.

When you have faith, you expect to receive.

When you expect people to do what they said they would do, you thank them before they actually do it. That’s faith.

When I decided to write the book, I had faith that I could do it, so I did it, but it was a process, and I knew I couldn’t do it alone. So I asked for help and I expected to receive help.

When people signed up to help me, I didn’t have to wait for them to do what they said they would do before I thanked them. Although they hadn’t yet written the review I asked for, I thanked them a billion times. All that mattered was that they signed up to help, and if help was here, thanksgiving was due.

Knowing and believing that I would get what I asked for, I gave thanks in advance.

When you can believe, ask for whatever you wish and it will be given to you. And I have started to receive what I asked for like I had faith I would.

Your faith and expectations won’t be cut off.

The highest expression of faith is to give thanks before receiving what you have asked for. This shows complete and total trust to the point that you give thanks for what you have yet to receive. Gratitude prior to receiving speaks volumes.

Give thanks for your calling. Ask for help when you need it and expect to receive the help you asked for and then do the work.

I received the help I asked for because I actually wrote the book. Without a book, there was nothing to be reviewed.

When you expect something to happen, it just might happen when you act on it.

Faith without action is dead.

III. You Act on it

If you don’t act on your faith, the faith you have is meaningless. You can have crazy faith, but it won’t matter if you do nothing.

By the actions you take each day, you can predict your future. You can predict whether you’ll be able to fulfill your calling or not by the actions you take today.

While I knew without a doubt I could write a book that helped many on their spiritual awakening journey, I had to actually sit down every day to write it and that was the hardest part.

The hardest part of your calling will be to actually follow through and do what you’ve been called to do.

It’s so easy to make excuses.

“There’s no time. There are too many books. It’s too late to do it now. And my famous excuse– I’m an introvert and I fear fame.” But the more I made excuses, the longer it took me to get to work, and the more I made myself write the book, the bigger my faith got because I was closer to seeing what I had already seen in my mind.

When you claim to have faith, but don’t follow through on what you’ve been called to do, what good is it?

Dreams and visions have their time, but making them a reality also has its time.

There is a time for being and a time for doing. But before you do it, you must prepare for it. You need to have a plan on how you’re going to bring dreams and visions to reality. You have to prepare for your calling.

Preparation time is never wasted time.

Whatever your calling is, you need to prepare for it now. Your preparation is vital for the opportunities that the universe is going to bring you.

When you’re preparing for something that’s not even happening yet, that’s faith.
