Abstract

ney’s words serve as a nudge, a gentle push toward the first step of doing.</p><p id="e47b">Take Thomas, a young, vibrant chap with a love for gardening. He envisioned transforming his backyard into a lush garden, teeming with vegetables and flowers. Unlike Ellie, Thomas took Disney’s quote to heart. He began with a small patch, planting a few seeds each day. Slowly, his backyard blossomed into a verdant paradise, a testament to the magic of doing.</p><figure id="b920"><img src="https://cdn-images-1.readmedium.com/v2/resize:fit:800/1*cWci7012zWNTtvRR4YDUZQ.png"><figcaption></figcaption></figure><p id="0211">Thomas’s journey teaches us an invaluable lesson: the smallest step of action is worth more than the grandest intention. It’s about rolling up your sleeves and planting the seeds of your dreams, one tiny action at a time.</p><p id="a9b7">Now, let’s pivot to practical tips inspired by Disney’s wisdom:</p><ol><li><b>Break It Down:</b> Big dreams can be overwhelming. Break them down into smaller, manageable tasks. Just like Thomas started with a small patch, begin with what you can handle now.</li><li><b>Set a Date, Not a Deadline:</b> Instead of a daunting deadline, set a start date. Mark the calendar for when you will take the first step, be it researching, writing, or just brainstorming.</li><li><b>Embrace the Learning Curve:</b> Every action, every attempt, is a step

towards learning. Don’t shy away from the initial stumbling. Remember, every expert was once a beginner.</li><li><b>Celebrate Small Victories:</b> Just like Thomas rejoiced each budding flower, celebrate your small achievements. These little celebrations fuel further actions.</li></ol><p id="b8b6">To wrap it up, Disney’s quote isn’t just a string of words, but a call to action, a mantra for those yearning to turn their dreams into reality. It’s about bridging the gap between intention and action. So, whether you’re an Ellie dreaming of a bakery or a Thomas aspiring to garden, remember, the secret lies in starting, in doing. In the words of the great Martin Luther King Jr., “You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” Let’s step forward, from the land of words to the realm of actions. 🌱🚀</p><p id="17f8">Thanks for reading. ❤️ Leave your views/thoughts💭, I’d love to hear from you! ✨</p><p id="1249">If my words touched your soul, please consider supporting my journey: [<a href="https://www.buymeacoffee.com/tokyofullstack"><b>Donate Link</b></a>](<a href="https://www.buymeacoffee.com/tokyofullstack">https://www.buymeacoffee.com/tokyofullstack</a>). 3 Signs of a Spiritual Burnout and What to Do About it

The type of burnout you feel deep inside your spirit

It makes you feel like you’re dying. (Photo: efes)

1. You Feel exhausted to the Bones

A spiritual awakening is one of the greatest things to ever happen to you. It makes you feel alive and on top of the universe, but an awakening can also be one of the challenging things you will ever go through. One minute you are expanding to hug the skies and the next minute you are sinking into the ground, burnt out of your mind.

A spiritual burnout is when you get so tired on your spiritual awakening journey, you feel like you can’t do it anymore. You feel like you just want it all to be over so you can just go home, but you’re home and you don’t even know where this home you yearn for is.

This burnout runs deeper than just physical tiredness. Sleep doesn’t cure it. Rest does nothing to help. Meditation doesn’t help because you’re just so over it all.

It’s tiredness you feel deep inside your soul. It’s a bone-crushing feeling, almost as if you’re dying.

You assume maybe if you healed some more things, you'd finally be okay so you dig and dig to find the things to heal, but you find that you are healing one thing after the next and sometimes you’re just healing a hundred things at a time.

All this healing work does nothing to help and leaves you feeling exhausted.

What you need to do is to stop.

Stop trying to do anything. Stop digging for things to heal. Stop with the shadow work. Pause with the inner work.

Stop doing for a little while and start being. Just be there without thinking about something spiritual. Stop trying to connect with spirit guides. Stop trying to figure out what the numbers are trying to tell you.

Just stop.

You have your intuition guiding you, and you’ll know when it's time to take a break from all the healing work and just enjoy life.

Life will be over before you know it and you'll be waiting in line, eager to return, so while you’re here, make the most of it and enjoy yourself every now and then. Allow your inner child to come out and play. Do some coloring. Play in the rain. Watch Netflix. Listen to music. Sleep all day.

Just be.

Go through your awakening with flow and ease. You don’t have to be serious all the time. You don’t have to be interpreting signs and synchronicities all the time. You don’t have to think everything is a sign. Everything isn’t.

Stop and play.

If you don’t stop, pause or take a break, you’ll lead yourself to a level of exhaustion that freaks out the ego and sends it into overdrive.

Go through your awakening with flow and ease. You don’t have to be serious all the time. You don’t have to be interpreting signs and synchronicities all the time.

2. You Don't Believe There’s a Light at the End of the Tunnel

Poor ego. It really means well. It doesn’t want to hurt you. It wants to help you, but when it can’t figure out what’s going on; it freaks out and gets stubborn. It tries to make you believe you don’t even care anymore.

God has turned his back on you because of a few sins? Fine. The universe doesn’t care about you? Fine. No one cares about you? Well, that’s fine too.

The ego says fuck it.

It accepts its fate. It tells you that you’re doomed and it’s fine. You feel helpless and defeated and you just want to remain there.

You feel so hopeless that you don’t see a light at the end of the tunnel. You don’t even believe there’s a light at the end of the tunnel anymore because you’ve been going for so long and all there’s been is darkness.

Ego tells you to stop expecting the light.

You stop being positive and it gets so bad that you feel like just giving up, but giving up would be easy. You don't even know how to give up.

What you need to do is to be patient.

I know. I know. Patience is the hardest thing, but having patience is saying to the universe, “I’ve done all I can, but I’m out of energy, so I’m surrendering it all to you.” It’s admitting that you can’t see the way forward and that you could use some help.

Don’t give up.

Tell your ego to cut it out. You’re not doomed. You’re just spiritually tired and you need a break.

When it gets so bad you feel you’re going to die, ask for help. Ask Spirit to help you. You have free will and Spirit respects that. It will not violate your free will. It won’t help when you haven’t asked. You have to open your mouth and say, “I can’t do it on my own so please help me.”

You have to be able to say, “I can’t see the way, so please send some light.” Ask Spirit to help you overcome this spiritual burnout so you can keep moving forward.

You see, there’s a certain flow to the universe; it moves on its own time. We’re in a rush to get somewhere and that’s why we’re burnt out. The universe isn’t in a rush. You can’t make the light appear when it’s not time.

Believe it or not but everything you’re experiencing is what your soul needs to evolve, and the universe knows that.

So stop.

Stop pushing so hard. Stop fighting. Stop your crying. Stop the worrying. Stop thinking and go to sleep. The light will come when you least expect it. Fighting and kicking only use up more of the energy you do not have and make you feel stuck.

A spiritual burnout makes you feel so hopeless that you don’t see a light at the end of the tunnel. You don’t even believe there’s a light at the end of the tunnel anymore because you’ve been going for so long and all there’s been is darkness.

3. You Feel Stuck in a Reality You Wish to Get Out of

When we’re spiritually burnout out, we are so tired that we don’t even feel like getting out of bed and doing something about our situation. Nothing makes sense.

No matter what you do, no matter how much you pray, nothing suggests the situation will change.

You feel stuck in a reality you’d rather not be in and you don't know how much longer you can take it. You feel like you're trapped in a dimension that's paralyzing you.

You just pray that the end arrives soon, so it’ll all be over.

This feeling can make you feel powerless and dissatisfied with life. It makes you feel dead inside.

You stop dressing up. You stop going out. You stop talking. You stop smiling. You stop laughing. You stop dating and you accept that you’ll probably die alone. You stop having fun because nothing brings you satisfaction.

You feel abandoned.

It feels as if the Lord can’t hear your prayers. It feels as if the universe has far more important people to attend to. Your family can’t see the pain you’re going through and you have no energy or words to try to explain it to them. You isolate yourself and they feel you want to be left alone, so they leave you alone when you’re in the room all alone, crying your eyes out while they’re out there giggling and enjoying life.

Life seems dull, and you really believe it’ll never change.

What you need to do is cut it out.

God didn’t abandon you. You’re very important to the universe and your family may really care for you. They might not know the severity of what you’re going through because you won’t tell them.

You need to stop the crazy thinking. You’re not stuck here in this realm. You chose to be here.

The burnout causes a disconnection between you and source energy, which makes you feel as if no one cares. Those are all lies in your head. Stop believing the lies and connect with this 3D reality.

The 3D world is where you are now.

You have to connect with it and the things that you can see with your physical eyes, hear with your physical ears, and smell with your physical nose. Embody your physical body and root yourself in the ground beneath you.

Ask the earth to support and hold you up. Strengthen your root chakra.

Start connecting more with this reality because you’re having a human experience. Stop focusing too much on spiritual matters.

When you are always focused on spirit — when you’re always trying to communicate with spirit guides in the spiritual world, when your crown chakra is overactive and your root chakra is underactive, sooner or later you’ll feel it in your bones.

The moment you leave your physical reality and get your head stuck somewhere in the clouds; the moment you feel like you want to escape this reality, you lose your connection with the universe.

We’re here to participate in human life. Your soul chose to be here, so be present and mindful in everything you do. You’re a human being right now, so focus on mastering life as a human being. The spiritual world will wait. It isn't going anywhere, so just try to be here now.
