Your Delightful Recharge
Thank You Notes #31

The most valuable thing we can do for the psyche, occasionally, is to let it rest, wander, live in the changing light of the room, not try to be or do anything whatever.
― May Sarton, Poet
Dear Lovely Readers and Writers,
The past two weeks have been a whirlwind of learning and growth for me. Ever since I started my contract for content writing, my days have had the joy of something new at every moment.
I love what I do with all my heart.
However, last week I felt a little overwhelmed, overstimulated, and disconnected. When there is a great learning curve, it can sap us of energy.
My intuition told me I needed some time to recharge. I sought some time to do activities that pleased my spirit and brought me back to myself.
On Friday, I spent much of the day cooking, baking, and preparing for my little tea party with my three best friends.
Saturday brought happiness into my heart, sipping tea and chatting with my friends as if time stood still. Those moments are the ones we live for. They define our souls and bring us great peace.
Sunday afternoon brought great delights. After going out for bagels with my husband and doing our errands, it was my time.
I felt a strong urge to do some decluttering and cleaning. To me, this is recharging work. Clearing space in my home allows me to feel more energy.
After doing everything my heart desired, I now feel ready to face this week head-on with joy!
This week’s theme is:

A note from your loving editor:
This week I learned a lot about myself and my energy levels.
It is imperative to be in the flow and know your limits of work activity.
This month I challenged myself with a lot. I started a new content writing contract, started NaNoWriMo to finish my book, and continued writing and running my publication on Medium.
Now I realize I need to slow down a little bit.
I will take things one day at a time and do my very best. I thank you for your trust, love, and confidence, moving through these changes.
This week I will enjoy catching up on reading your work, and delight in your words.
Sending you all love and light,
Trista
