How to enjoy a rest

What is a cozy home? Where you enter and you feel the radiance of your divine self. -Harbhajan Singh Yogi

I have always found immense comfort in a soft blanket. I love to feel the coziness of a warm embrace by wrapping myself up in a cocoon.

Last Saturday, we went to buy a new blanket.

My husband and I stopped by a tiny store set inside a Mexican supermarket. There, we found the softest pieces of comfort.

The gentleman showed us his favorite one. The blanket was the thickest, most luxurious one I had ever seen.

In the end, we took this lovely purple floral blanket home.

Right now, in the middle of a cold, rainy fall, it is our saviour of comfort. I am grateful for its softness, joyful for its warmth. It reminds me of cold nights in Mexico when my host family gave me a blanket like this one.

If you have never owned a Mexican blanket, I recommend you try one. There is something special about the comfort it brings.

Do you have a favorite blanket or comforter? What makes it cozy? What is the story behind it? Share your story in the comments. I appreciate you!
