When Should You Believe You’ll Succeed as a Medium Writer?
What makes you a good writer? 1000s of followers or $1000 revenue per month? No! You have another wonderful route to success.

For most people, the early stage as a writer on Medium feels like a confused kid. Isn’t it?
What should I be focussing on, Consistency or Quality? Why are there, not enough reads, am I still an invisible writer? Do I have to learn something new to write? Often I hear success stories, but how can I focus on something?
Deciding on what to write is like a student who is struggling to choose his higher study plan. Too many options and too much advice.
Don’t worry, just Relax! I’ll tell you a tip that worked for me focus on my writing rather than success or failure.
Look into the eye of a reader.
Back in those days when adults trained kids to become a good public speaker. They would advise.
“Don’t get distracted by the large count of the audiance, rather just pick a right person you seem you can connect and communicate with.

Focus on that person, and look into the eyes, even though you can also skim through the rest of the audience. Make sure that your speech added value to at least that particular person.
Of course, you have the freedom to take one from many who want to hear your speech. Gradually, you will master talking to many eyes.
How is this practical on Medium?
You might be getting a lot of comments. But focus on some special comments that are written from the heart.
Did your article help them? If Yes, try helping them more.
Your article has started to connect with people and your content has made an impact on at least a small set of audience.
Yes, this is your path to succeeding as a Medium writer. A milestone that can be celebrated.
From my experience.
When I published an article related to creating AI images with PlaygroundAI — I explained the fundamentals that can be followed by those who are planning to use these platforms to generate AI images.
I have received some comments that motivated me to explore further and share some more articles with my wonderful fellow writers. In that way, I’m spending the time more meaningfully than before. They have inspired me to explore more.
I’m a curious follower of all these writers because they inspire me all day with their wonderful articles. I’m not mentioning everyone here who motivated me, But these writers who commented on my AI image article, I’m happy to mention here.
Here are some of the comments.

Here you can see most of them say, the article has brought some value to them. So it's my responsibility to deliver better content for them through the next article related to AI Image generation.
Thanks to all the writers who give me immense support and inspiration.
Just work hard to deliver the value.
What I learned so far from writing on Medium is not to be demotivated by focusing on income, views, and reads. Leave all that behind.
It's just about creating value for someone the audience.
Especially when you start to connect with them, it brings more happiness that you are making an impact on your friends out there.
Finally.
I had a plan to write consistently on Medium. from February 1st.
I would say I can see a lot of improvements in my status after that. In January my status was like 600+ views and roughly 300+ reads.
Now by the first couple of days in February itself, I was able to get 180+ views and 80+ reads. Thanks to all my readers

My target is to get 5000+ views and 2500+ reads by the end of this month. It’s time to learn more make a difference and come up with more interesting stuff.
