Two Articles a Day, 5-Day Accelerated 🚀 Strategy in Medium

Hello friends! All those who want to take the ‘medium writing game’ to the next level can join me.

I’ve been following a lot of brilliant writers who consistently deliver articles — ‘Every day’. How can we be consistent without losing quality?

I decided to challenge myself to level up my game. I’m pretty much curious about it!

Being curious about challenges always brought me success.

I believe that ‘small focused iterations’ could change the entire outcome and it can give you the boost you wanted.

My iteration plan is: Starting Today to February 5th, I’ll be writing two stories each day (for the next 5 days).

Here I will walk you through the plans.

I’m sharing this as a blog post because I believe it could motivate new writers to take similar initiatives. Sometimes, the thought of writing consistently for an entire year can be overwhelming. Let’s start with the smallest iteration and see where it takes us!

How to write that much content without losing quality?

It could be a huge challenge. So I made the ‘Quality Pipeline Checklist’ for building content, and a plan about the topics. This Quality Pipeline will help me to write content at a better pace without losing the quality.

The quality pipeline should be improvised based on day-by-day experience.

Here is my checklist.

ITERATION 1: Build a Structure.

• Write a clickbait title.
• A curiosity-generating introduction.
• A skeleton with Subheadings and key points.
• Include real experiences wherever necessary.
• Share valuable insights as a conclusion.

ITERATION 2: Elaborate

• Elaborate each section in a readable and conversational way.
• Format it, then check readability.
• Choose the suitable images (Generate with AI if required).

ITERATION 3: Review And Publish

• Peer testing with colleagues.
• Add footer (Other recommended articles, Message to subscribe, Follow links)
• Add proper tags to get more engagement.
• Publish (Submit to the right publication)

I have written rough details about the iteration that I’m going to execute for each article (This will be improved over time)

What are the topics that I’ll include?

For this 5 day iteration, I will scribble down the topics that need to go each day. I’ll be writing about productivity, enlightenment, relationships, technology, and spirituality.

On Day 6, I’ll update the stats for this strategy here to compare how well it worked.

I have already written an article about my engagement strategies here. I will follow the same pattern here. I will make improvements from my day-by-day learning.

Update: The Outcome.

First week’s View/Read stats.

It was quite an amazing journey in the last 5 days alone. I wrote around 10 stories from Feb 1st (some of the articles are still under the Publisher’s review) and managed to publish 9 articles.

Compared to the previous month's growth, I was able to earn more than $5 in the first couple of days.

I will write more about this experience in upcoming articles.
