This Week’s Prompt: 23–29.11 + Poetry Challenge
All things water.

Good morning/afternoon/evening, now and forever!
I have exciting news!!!! But, first things first.
This week’s prompt may seem, perhaps a bit random, but it isn’t. I am grateful to Spyder, once again, for coming up with prompt ideas, such as this one. Water, water, water…What shall we write about it? Whatever comes to mind, of course.
Remember, you are fluid like water…And you’ve been swimming deep in your own waters for a long time. You’ve surfed the most turbulent waves. You’ve experienced what polluted waters feels like. You’ve cleared and cleansed them. You’ve gone with the flow…You’ve done it all!
Be creative! Whatever and however this prompt speaks to you, write passionately about it. Let it carry you wherever. There is no right or wrong. There just is…
Now, about the poetry challenge! As you know, I am a die hard poetry fan. I have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner, everyday…When I am not writing it, I am devouring it. I know a lot of you do too! And, although poetry has always been accepted and encouraged at Know Thyself, I feel like it’s time we took it to another level. It’s time to start embracing transcendental poetry and have a weekly challenge dedicated to it alone.
This challenge is separate from the weekly/weekend prompt. This is for poetry lovers and readers. For those who resonate. For those who wish to share a bit more of themselves with us through their art.
Just like the weekly prompt, contributors can submit poems until the end of the week (Sunday). They will be published everyday, as soon as I get notified of the submission and am able to log into Medium.
With that being said, the poetry challenge for this week is: “Change is unavoidable”. Write something in regards to these few words, whatever comes to mind! It’s all about awakening and stirring emotions within yourself and others. It’s all about transcendence through poetry.
I am looking forward to everyone’s masterpieces! Cheers!
