Soul of the forest

An ode to Nature

Source

Through the soul of the forest, my feet have been wandering, following old trails of pilgrims.

I speak no word, I ask no question, while resting against a tree trunk, calmed by the music of age-old wisdom.

My soul senses bliss in her higher dimensions, while peacefully syncing on the timbre of her timber, uninterrupted, till my being is whole again.

And there, on the narrow path, in higher skies, I perceive her, who waves, my soul, my all … beaming her touches of lightness in me.

Oh, sunshine, in your face beholds my love, you make me smile after the rain fell down, reflecting your spirit in colorful rainbows.

I couldn’t resist staying all-day, all night long, invigorating my soul with all that is present, breathing the constant flow of Nature’s energy.

The night soaked in the forest, and, on her behalf, she gently lays dew crystal on thicket and foliage, ahead the starry night changed again in heavenly blue. When leaving this sanctuary, a wonderful feeling, and blessed by the soul of this magical forest, I poured my love into all that exists …

And even perhaps some in me.

Stay safe and be well! 💕

For every poem or post I write, I’m adding in a poem that has really touched and inspired me. This one is from Maii, who just launched her debut ‘Messy Rose">Messy rose’, which I can only describe as ‘Vulnerable en poignant poetry and illustration, as a delicate drop of silence in a heartfelt song …’
