A Spiritual Poem

Once I dreamed I was walking Along the shore at lowest tide However, I did not walk alone For a Stranger was on my side

I stopped and looked besides me In his eyes I saw my life All the times of joy and love The moments of sorrow and hope

For a moment I was dazzled Not knowing what to think In his eyes I read a riddle Refining heaven with every wink

…I’m just a ripple in the endless space A minor spark from the sea of light In the waters a traceable drop Out of the forest the smallest leaf

But in that wrinkle I am the space In the spark the heart of the light In the drop I am vast as the oceans I am the breath of the deepest forest…

I looked more closely at our tracks And saw it was just one Specifically at a troubled point Of my path, his steps were gone

I then said: ‘Stranger why? When I needed you the most Wasn’t able to see the Light On the heaviest of my path?’

The Stranger viewed me with his Love And replied to my request ‘My dear child, when it was difficult I carried you nonetheless!’

For your wisdom knows your heart And therefore knows the other Your wisdom does not judge But lets Love flow to all others
