The greatest gift of all

A poem for my sweet sister

There is a miracle in this world, and it is called our hearts. It is what makes you care for all that is and breaths.

It’s the only way to feel love, and the way through which you are loved. It’s how you can see the other for what they truly are.

When you are a caregiver, empathizing with all that is, then you know how to let your heart speak, but do you also know how to listen?

For your heart is also reminding you that you are so loved and so blessed. It’s okay to give but to also receive the love from your heart and its sisters.

Your heart will never leave your side, it always ticks for you. It is your kind companion, your never deceiving guide.

The only thing you need to do is look deep down inside of you. And find that little spark, I’m sure it’ll ignite a smile.

So allow your heart to shine for you, find the peace in your precious core. Accept the love that’s in your heart, the greatest gift of all.

— For my sweet little sister on the other side of the world. Them that I love, know that I love you :-)💕

Stay safe and be well!

I’m supporting the wonderful initiative of Martin Rushton ‘Share The Love — May 2020’

So with every poem or post I write, I’m adding in a poem that has really touched me. This one is from Gurpreet Dhariwal:

Sometimes with our hearts, we just see new light brought in the world, is it God? We just know that life is more than that, eternally more than a dream.

One says it’s a miracle, the other says God, who knows what it is may say it. There is no one who knows how to explain it … Behold the Miracle of Love.
