I had mixed feelings yesterday, joy, gratitude, and a bit of disappointed. However, joy and gratitude easily overwrote the minor disappointment.

The last couple of weeks I was reporting 700+ writers based on the publication interface. Even though I was adding 20+ writers each day for the last two weeks, the dashboard was still showing around 700 writers. I took the plunge and approached the Medium help-desk for an inquiry.

It is indeed a friendly help-desk. The help-desk agent admitted that Medium publication interface has a technical constraint to show a large number of writers in publications. As a technologist, I empathized with this reasonable response. ILLUMINATION turned to be a large publication passing the capacity of Medium publication interfaces.

The positive part of my inquiry was that the friendly help-desk agent kindly provided me with an authoritative list in the CSV format. This data file was showing the exact number of writers with their account IDs who joined ILLUMINATION. I was grateful for this positive outcome.

I am pleased to inform you that ILLUMINATION has now 1035 writers.

Our publication is supported by writers from many professional backgrounds and they are writing in multiple genres covering a wide variety of topics.
