Mesozoic Quick Fact Series (MQFS) aims to provide interesting facts about various groups of extinct animals in a fun and readable way. We will focus on the highlights, so you don’t need to read extensive, time-consuming texts!
Each story in the series tributes a certain group of extinct animals and presents educational information in short, digestible parts.
Each story is divided into the following parts:
1. Starting with the basics…
Presenting some basic information about the group, such as the origin of the clade’s name and the group’s most characteristic traits.
2. When did they live?
This part covers the geological time span during which members of the group lived and thrived.
3. …and where?
Presenting the localities where fossils of the particularly clade have been discovered.
4. How large they were?
This part covers the size ranges between various members of the group.
5. Any cool names?
The coolest/funniest/strangest/most epic species names of the family will be presented here.
6. In popular culture:
This part features iconic and memorable depictions of the group in popular culture and its cultural significance.
7. Did you know…?
Additional, funny/strange/cool information about the presented group will be placed here.
