Mantras of Gratitude
A Poem for the Spiritual Tree Prompt: ‘Universe’
I am grateful for the sounds, the vibrations of nature, the winds of wisdom whispering her magic through the trees, the beat of ocean waves breaking on the beach … A healing acoustic that our Great Mother brings us here, harmonizing my body with the rhythms and flow of Nature, through which I find tranquility and the peace of my heart.
I am grateful for the sighs of the invigorating air, a tender light wind from happy flapping Angel wings, the oxygen my lungs must draw, by the law of the Universe. A kind of magic, a sweet zephyr of the lovely Spirit of Air, generated by Nature’s life support under one’s breath, enabling me to breathe in again a fresh morning’s breeze.
I am grateful for the abundance from our Mother Earth, her generous nourishment of fruits, greens, grains, and herbs. Growing her plants out of her secret womb to quench our hunger, bringing forth a hundred folds of nutrition to feed humankind. Her Nature adding spices to our bodies with every refreshment, her Beauty a true blessing for our souls’ spiritual sustenance.
I am grateful for all the floral and animal diversity, the bees, the birds, the butterflies, and all the other wildlife, each playing such a delicate role in sustaining our environment. The changing of the seasons depicting the stages of a life cycle, aligning my spiritual journey with the personalities of Nature, inspiring my beliefs, and the creation of poetry in me.
I’m grateful for the freedom our Universe grants me, a peaceful existence without knowing what comes next. That I can build my path, stone by stone, towards my healing, lovingly picking myself up again after I have fallen. To become who I am, being just enough for the right people, while dancing into the Light where bliss is joyfully waiting.
Stay safe and be well! 💕
