Highlights: A Deep Dive Into what if…

Wikimedia

Several months ago, I started to post every now and then a prompt called “ Deep Dive” to create bridges with other fellow writers, open discussions, exchange experiences, and a safe place to safely share writings, minutes, and parts of the heart.

For every theme I choose to write about and ask my fellow writers to write about, I choose some interesting thoughts, quotes, and comments from those who participate, and I add all the links to the articles.

I am back to Medium after two months of inertia. I faced some difficult obstacles in my professional life, and I needed to deal with them. At the end of the day, life is the art of prioritizing and choosing our battles.

Now, after the end of this tough period, I am back to Medium and to the deep dives and their highlights articles.

My last article before my forced break from Medium was a deep dive called “ Deep Dive Prompt: If,” raising questions about life.

I am so happy that many of my fellow writers dedicate time, effort, and love to join the prompt, share with us part of their hearts, and show us the life in the creativity bubble we sit in to construct a world of letters and words.

In this article, I am posting all the articles with some quotes and highlights. This is also an invitation to read what you might find interesting. Sometimes inspiration hides in the shadow of a phrase or a sentence, and reading is a tool to find the gold scattered between full stops and commas.

All the articles were deep, beautiful, and thought-provoking. There were many beautiful phrases, which made my task of cherrypicking a tricky one

Let us start with the writers who joined the prompt:

I have a dream to….

“ Feed the hungry, especially children. No person should go hungry or die from malnutrition.” Michael Rhodes

Searching for true happiness~

“ I’d definitely choose a cup of happiness. To discover what true happiness is would be the ultimate gift, even if to experience it for a short time was all that was on offer.” Colleen Millsteed

If your heart were chocolate, then….

“A Ghiardelli Dark Chocolate Raspberry bar, because it’s neither to sweet, nor to bitter, it is just right” Michelle Renee Kidwell

And the title and the subtitle of my life are…….

“ Rising from the Ashes A tale of love, loss, and rebirth” Autistic Widower ("AJ")

I continue to dream unless…

“If life were a dream, I would continue to partake unless offered a red or blue pill Matrix style.” Amanda Weir-Gertzog

The art of listening to your body

“ Yes, most of the time. I like a treat as much as anyone, but I always feel my body tells me when I am short on nutrition and I do really like healthy food.” Jacqui Smith

Towards a world with crimes

“ War itself would be a crime, not just certain war crimes.” Lisa Cunningham DeLauney

I am so grateful to all those who joined or read the prompt.

If you are interested in joining such “deep dives,” please add a comment, and I am more than happy to add you.
