Deep Dive Prompt: Writing on Medium

Wikimedia

Several weeks ago, I started to post every now and then a prompt called “ Deep Dive” to create bridges with other fellow writers, open discussions, exchange experiences, and a safe place to safely share writings, minutes, and parts of the heart.

Today I have a new prompt for you.

The focus today is on Medium and your experience with it. Here is the list for today!

  1. How did you hear about Medium? If there is an interesting story behind it, please share it.

2. How long have you been writing on Medium?

3. If you have to choose one of the articles you wrote on Medium, which one will it be and why? ( Please don't forget to share the link.)

4. How do you measure success on Medium?

5. How do you choose your publisher(s)? Any secret recipes?

6. What is your strategy: a big publisher leads to more visibility, or a small publisher leads to more focus and real interaction?

7. If you can give one single piece of advice to a newcomer to Medium, what will it be?

8. What is the most pleasant experience you have had on Medium?

9. What is the least pleasant experience you have had on Medium?

10. In one word, how do you describe the experience with Medium and why?

10. You write on Medium because writing provides you with something special. Could you share the fruits of your experience so far?
