Fourth Sequel of Medium Favs
An endless supply of Medium talent

This is the fourth sequel of my favorite Medium writers. The list keeps growing, so it appears this will continue as a series.
It isn’t easy to choose which writers to feature. Sometimes I save articles in a file, but often I forget or believe that liar in my head who tells me I’ll remember. Lately, I jot down a name after noting I shared one of their stories with hubby or a friend.
Deciding who to read has become rather like dating. I don’t have time to troll for good reads, so when someone shows interest in me, I check them out. If their profile and collection of stories pique my interest, I follow and subscribe. Sadly, if they write three times a day, I end up deleting them before I get a chance to read a story. Lately, I can’t keep up with my new finds because I have so many old loves.
Oh, goodness, have I become a promiscuous reader?
I don’t know about you, but I am always searching for that golden moment in time when I have enough time to read, write, and live my life.
Before I share the new list, here are the three previous lists of favs.
(Toni The Talker, Grace Bianco, Lu Skerdoo, Trisha Faye, Rosa Diaz-Casal, Susan Wheelock)
(Nour Boustani, sherry truitt, Britt H., Jan Sebastian 🖐👩🦰, B.R. Shenoy, Natalie)
(Douglas Lim, Dawn Ulmer, Michele Maize, Annelise Lords, Don Drewniak, Elizabeth Emerald)
And now for my latest favorite jewels of Medium —
I’ll start by saying that I found several of these writers through Toni The Talker via a successful booster program she founded and coached.
First up this time is Jill Ebstein. Truth be told, I don’t know her very well yet, but after reading a couple of her stories that wowed me, I realized she has a real talent for hitting the mark on substance and interest. She has a way of writing about whatever, in an enticing manner.
Here’s an example story:
Next up is Henery X. It didn’t take long to get hooked on Henery. His heart is golden and he’s always a fun read. Let me just say, that this writer knows his way around words. And, as a cherry on top, he is a passionate supporter of his fellow penmen.
It was hard to choose just one, but this gives you a sneak peek at his soul:

A long-time favorite of mine is Julie KingGood. If you read her short bio tagline it states: “I like to write through the broken places of my soul.” Her pieces are always authentic, real, and interesting.
Check her out:
Next up is Toya Qualls-Barnette. I love a good story and, this gal with the gorgeous smile always provides. Whenever I read her, I must stop and ask, “Who is this gal?” You know, like when you keep checking the author bio on the back of a book because you are intrigued. Here’s a recent favorite:
Whenever I see Dr. Preeti Singh on the thread, I smile. I love learning about her life. Her love of color and dance and her devotion to living a peace-filled meditative life are exquisite fodder for good writing.
This is her most recent post but, trust me, they are all worth a read.
I will finish this off with Joe Merkle. I’m a sucker for men who are bold enough to write about love. We need more of them. Joe’s words cause me to snuggle my husband a little closer. Love is not his only topic, to name a few, gratitude, grief, and humor.
Here’s a recent example:
