Six More Favorite Medium Writers and Why I Keep Reading
The list keeps growing

This is my third time selecting my favorite writers to share with you. The list keeps growing, making it hard to choose. The hard part is not finding Medium writers I love, it’s narrowing the list down to six. With that said, this post will probably continue as a series.
It brings me great joy to feel like I know these writers and think of them as friends. Isn’t that how we judge writing? I know after finishing a fantastic book, I long to go to coffee with the author. Yes, even if the book was about a serial killer. I have a gazillion questions. If they’d let me, I would open their skull to inspect their brain. I want to know the process they used to succeed in making my heart race or evoking such joy.
Honestly, if I don’t want to get to know you better, I probably was not moved by your writing. That’s why I love Medium. Stephen King won’t talk to me or answer my questions, but you guys will.
Before I share the new list, here are the two previous lists of favs.
In completely random order, here is my most recent list of favs.
I’ll start with Toni The Talker because she would have been on my first list but she mysteriously disappeared. No worries, she’s back. Toni is a powerhouse of energy. When you read her, you sit on the edge of your chair. That’s saying something because she isn’t a murder mystery writer. Not even close. Yet she manages through word choice and amazing images to keep you energized while learning something new. With Toni, my favorite is always whatever I just read. You won’t find a more supportive fellow writer.
This one tugged at my heartstrings.
Next up is Grace Bianco. When selecting who to feature this time, I was amazed to see I have not written about Grace. She simply blows me away. She manages to write about everyday life in an intelligent voice. I always want to bottle her and peddle her to other young people. With that said, I learn from Grace too, especially her biblical writings. I’m here to say, Grace not only knows the Word but also puts forth effort to live it.
Another wise woman of faith is Lu Skerdoo. Lu is the kind of person you see across a crowded room and exhale, knowing you’re going to have fun and relax. She’s a one-gal welcome wagon. Somehow she manages to emit that in her writing whether she is talking about her new pup or sharing a powerful scripture. I simply just like her.
Trisha Faye is another favorite Medium writer. She runs The Good Vibes Club which I enjoy writing for and reading. It’s clear that Trisha is devoted to supporting and promoting other writers. Her writing is always entertaining and informative. She values good friends and I always know she will do her best to help us all stay positive. The story below is a perfect example of how she works interesting facts into her stories. Trisha is like the recipe you would grab if you could only take one.
Next up is Rosa Diaz-Casal. Rosa’s writing is the perfect balance of information and interest. Her work is professional but never stuffy. I especially like her inspiring stories for women. Her encouragement is modern and sound and she seems to know what questions and thoughts the reader needs addressed.
Next is Susan Wheelock. Reading Susan’s words is like sitting down together over a cup of tea. It’s as if she reaches through my computer and says, “Hi, Deb. Guess what’s going on with me?” And, somehow I feel cared about as I’m reading. Susan cares. She’s smiling at you while she’s writing. Best of all, she’s authentic and sincere.
Conclusion:
Others in your life may support your writing.
That‘s great.
But do they really get you? Who better to know the exact words you need to hear than another writer?
More favs to come…
