Daily Success Stories from ILLUMINATION
Find Your Voice on ILLUMINATION
1304 ILLUMINATION writers are supporting 11300 Medium members

A writer’s voice is not character alone, it is not style alone; it is far more. A writer’s voice line the stroke of an artist’s brush- is the thumbprint of her whole person- her idea, wit, humor, passions, rhythms. — Patricia Lee Gauch
I had numerous messages from our writers who comment that they were finding their writing voice on ILLUMINATION. It is an honor for us to be able to provide such a superior service to our writers who deserve it. This is the by-product of our diversity, inclusiveness, and cross-pollination values.
We value writers’ content and encourage them for continuous improvement. Rather than rejecting stories, we advise, edit, and enhance them to give value and more options for our readers. Our more experienced writers mentor relatively new writers to grow and succeed.
We believe in iterative progress. Several of our writers leveled up in the last couple of months using 30-day writing challenges. They tried developing stories on new topics beyond their comfort zone.
Over the last few weeks, I managed to influence some writers from other platforms and blogging sites to join Medium. These new members were impressed by our services and nurturing culture. Some shared their surprises on the remarkable collaboration among our writers characterized as unusual.
We care about the voice of our writers on ILLUMINATION. We strive to empower our writers hence took multiple measures and development activities. We will be providing several practical and guiding exercises. I will introduce some new services in my upcoming bulletins.
In the meantime, our editors have already started nurturing our new writers with guiding stories and featuring their content. For example, two of our editors Timothy Key and Kathryn A. LeRoy, Ph.D. have already created stories supporting our new writers. The following are two recent sample stories that you can check and gain benefits for your success.
Timothy Key committed to continuing this new series for a whole month in June. I highly recommend new writers to engage in these guiding stories. More of our editors will be providing similar content soon.
Our experienced writers provide guidance and review on our Slack channel. All of our writers are invited to participate and collaborate on Slack. We have over 300 members participating in several improvement activities.

New writers: please ensure that you check your stories for typos, spelling, and grammar errors before submitting them to the publication.
