DRABBLE STORY ARC #4: Boundless Luck
Encounter by the Cottage
A chapter of a ‘choose your own’ story — drabble edition!

This is a continuation of Boundless Luck, a Choose Your Own Adventure Story (drabble edition) started by Bradan Writes Stories. Find out how to contribute here, or return to the previous chapter: ‘Feeling Free by Morning’ by JF Danskin.
It’s a fine bow. Might there be things to hunt among the trees? You’re feeling lucky!
But before you reach the cottage, you notice a rowboat approaching the shore, with three horrible goblins. You hurriedly hide behind a rock, hoping to get away. But they settle down, chanting war songs and munching on elf meat.
Hours pass before they set off again. You feel angry — and hungry! But as luck would have it, an enormous kraken tentacle rises up from the lake and drags the evil trio down.
You hurry on and grab the bow. But now a gnome mooches out of the trees. “Stranger, let’s raid the tower of the famous wizard Tyrus!” he says.
