“Treasure? I’m in!” you say to the gnome. “What’s your name?”

“Geart.”

“Well, lead the way, Geart!”

He gestures, and soon you are walking together on a forest path. Geart mutters a spell, and a glowing ball of light appears, guiding you.

“Thanks! Now, tell me more about this sorcerer.”

“A famous adventurer,” Geart replies. “Many brave quests. Who knows how he died? Old age maybe. His treasure and magic items are all in the tower.”

You frown. “Won’t he have, like… magical defences?”

Geart looks you up and down. “That’s why I wanted some help. You’re tough. Resilient.”

“Uhhh…”
