How to Deal with Mental Clutter
And produce in flow state consistently

Context
I am inspired to create this post after receiving encouraging feedback on my recent story on ILLUMINATION Book Chapters from a discerning reader Obinna Uruakpa, also an outstanding writer on Medium.

I changed one of the tags to mental health based on feedback from Obinna.
Many thanks to Jay Toran for this inspiring comment too.

We need help reaching out to readers. Let me explain briefly.
Visibility problem on Medium
Despite our increased followers, creating visibility on Medium is getting harder and harder. The AI does not pick important stories from many top writers.
Most of us feel like it blocks our content from extended distribution to the platform readers. We have to shoulder the load of creating awareness of our crucial messages stemming from our hard-learned lessons.
We have to hunt new readers now. If we don’t do it, the Medium system does not allow us to take our content to new readers.
Even our regular readers cannot find valuable content nowadays. Karen Madej voiced her recent concerns with examples. Julia E Hubbel discussed the issue in several stories like this. And a popular writer Shannon Ashley pointed out the problems from her experience in this engaging story recently.
Despite these challenges, we shouldn’t give up; instead continue illuminating with persistence. We have important messages and must share them with those who need to learn from our experience.
I recommend all writers create short-form stories in my publications to create more visibility. We continue featuring stories to find new readers.
And meaningful engagement with other writers can help us amplify our messages to some extent. Writers are the best readers, and they spread word. Writing and reading communities thrive. We are now starting a virtual book club in our Slack workspace to create more vitality like Goodreads.
Please consider participating in this writing challenge. Your story can connect with other writers and create visibility to your content.
Britni Pepper, Thewriteyard, and Jay Toran have already submitted their great stories as a response to this challenge. You can check Britni’s story, Thewriteyard’s story, and Jay’s story which can give you some ideas.
Without further ado, please enjoy my recent story, which may give you useful and valuable insights on dealing with mental clutter.
Chapter 8: How to become more productive with less time and effort
What truly matters to you in your business and personal life?
Time is the most valuable asset, and chronic stress is the worst enemy for health. This piece is the story of how to create a delicate balance to become productive, stay mentally healthy and physically fit simultaneously, and sustain motivation with joy.
This story using first-person narration reflects hard-learned life lessons from a person moving from being a perfectionist to a pragmatic achiever in business and personal life. The simple and proven techniques I introduce can be transformational for those who suffer from unnecessary stress in the business world, school, and personal life.
How can we produce more with less time, effort, and pressure?
I explain with simple examples from my experience.
