Where has Common Sense Gone?

American Politics and the Dishonesty of Sensationalized Pablum

So what I want to know is what did Donaldmort do with that document that detailed the nuclear defense capabilities of that “unknown” country. I mean, is Marge really defending that? How about Howdy Doody McCarthy? It’s for damned sure that Liz ain’t defending that lame-brained loser. Most people with just a little bit of common sense know that what that loser did was to jeopardize the whole damned nation with his arrogant self-importance. Now he has the gall to go to court to defend stealing documents that he knows perfectly well belong in the safest of safe locations. You don’t think that is treason of the highest order? Okay, I’ll bite, what would you call it then?

The most disgusting thing going on around this is the quasi-seriousness the cable news people are using to describe this atrocity. Donaldmort is threatening the security of the world, not to mention the balance of power, all by himself. Do you really want this to be watered down so that Teodor Cruz, The Graham Cracker from South Carolina, Sr. DeSantis, Show Me, Josh, along with Marge and Matt, are not offended? I’m not sure that offending them is worth the effort but I’m down for it. But the guys and gals on the news have to be all fair about what they report. Now, if that is not hogwash, I guess I missed that class coming up in life. I was taught to call a spade a spade. In the very words of Donaldmort, “It is what it is.”

At that Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania tent revival Donaldmort spoke at the other day, there was a lady who called herself some kind of therapist. Her brother thinks of himself as a self-styled Hitler. The dude even wears a Hitler-style mustache. The nice lady is just as out of touch with reality as her brother (One can only imagine the family life of those kids but one can not believe what they imagine, huh?). She actually defended her brother as a victim of the state. WTF people? Where has common sense gone? If all this was not so damned pitiful one would just have to LOL.

The most pitiful part of all of this is that Donaldmort and Graham Cracker have both called for riots in the street as a viable alternative to them telling the truth about anything at all. They know just as you and I know that they broke the law and now they’re crying in their beer because they might have to do the time for the crime. If they were just singing the blues about what is about to come down on them I could understand. But they’re not. Those two government officials are calling for armed rebellion in the streets as opposed to addressing where they broke the law. They maybe should have thought about the coming consequences before they did such stupid things as stealing Top Secret documents and trying to convince a State Official to help them by negating votes that were legal. They’re both grown men and surely know the definitions of responsibility and obligations, don’t you think?

Something that is amazing in all of this is that Dark Brandon’s mounting accomplishments are not being exactly touted but the deplorable actions of many of the Republican politicians are being reported as boys will be boys. Well, except for Marge. The news boys must all think she’s pretty because they seem to dote on how blonde she can be. What part of that blonde act is just an act don’t they understand? But stop for a moment and remember how the news boys treated Al Franken and the ex-governor of New York, Cuomo. All those two Democrats did was grab a feel. It wasn’t okay but they lost their careers over those things. Trying to overturn an election and stealing state secrets for unknown reasons are tolerated as bad behavior? Come on guys, we ain’t that dumb. We have common sense.

Here’s another head and arse scratcher. Howdy Doody McCarthy is treated with a modicum of respect while Nancy with the latest coiffure and the iron thumb is more often than not bad-mouthed as someone who is evil personified. She of the nose-thumbing of the Chinese demands she not visit Taiwan. Howdy Doody doesn’t have the cojones to visit Taiwan. He doesn’t have the cajones to even tell the truth about how he really thinks about Donaldmort. Does that freckled-faced puppet really think he’s Speaker of the House material? He may have once been but the boy has lost a step cause it looks like Nancy is still way ahead of him.

Then there’s the saga of The Wizard of Oz trying to overcome the reality of a veggie plate. The poor undernourished millionaire from New Jersey is up against a guy who will not forget those souls lost on his watch in a small Pennsylvania town. Big John may have stressed himself out with running for the US Senate but he cares about the lives of Pennsylvanians. Mehmet votes in Turkey. Here comes the part where your head nearly explodes. Moscow Mitch stated, matter-a-factly, that The Wizard might be able to sell snake oil but he doesn’t stand a chance in Hell against someone who understands that people vote for leaders who give a damn about them. For such a truthful statement Donaldmort and his cohorts have decided that Moscow Mitch is not sufficiently Republican. Those dummies are calling Moscow Mitch a RINO. What is this world coming to? Mitch is the definition of Republicanism. Yo, Donaldites! The name Clueless kind of applies to y’all, you know….?

You might wonder why any of this is actually important. It is, after all, American Politics where lying is an art form and journalism has long since been replaced with sensationalized pablum. Well, it has to do with how Moscow Mitch got what he wished for. He manipulated the Senate rules to put three lying sob’s on the Supreme Court. Well, those three stooges have given Mitch what he wanted. But my gracious, what will it cost him? What will it cost the whole country? People like Ginny wanted to keep Donaldmort as Fascist in Chief. But that was so far out of the reality that is the United States that the fallout is proving to be worse than any of them ever imagined. Consider the consequences of Donaldmort having sold those 43 folders full of classified documents. Are you sure you want to live under the rule of an autocrat? One who can and will affect your life with a change of whim? This last question is for my Christian Nationalist friends. If you get your Theocracy will you really be allowed to worship in the way you want? You don’t think you’ll be required to worship at the State controlled church and be required to believe the required State articles of faith? How about you stop and consider that there are centuries of the division of your faith? What happened to the Gnostics? Why are some of you Methodists or Lutherans or Baptists, or Catholics? All of your faiths originated in the same place and your forefathers were oppressed for believing in the faith you claim today. Just saying that is all. But do think about it.
