Twin-Flame Soulmates — Part 6

Do they exist? Yes, but…

Twin-Flame Soulmates are Extremely Rare

Some estimates list the number of Twin-Flame (T-F) soulmates as between 140 and 144 thousand. Remember that a T-F soulmate is a half of a soul (or spirit-being). Not all the current T-Fs are on Planet Earth (not following the strict definition of a soul split in-half). They may be on other worlds, in many other dimensions such as — the Afterlife.

They are rare because the divided soul and personality are extremely wounded and are prone to addictive elements and obsessive desires on this plane of existence. Because of their mirroring abilities, the personality is also severely infected with woundedness. Could there be another definition of Twin-Flame Soulmates that differs from a soul split in two?

Why So Many Believe they are Twin-Flames

Vanishing Twin Syndrome

Maybe individuals that arise out of Vanishing-Twin Syndrome (V-T S) may believe they have a Twin-Flame Soulmate (T-FS). A mother carrying twins or multiples loses a child through miscarriage. Sometimes the surviving twin carries the DNA of the miscarried twin, or the deceased twin’s DNA is absorbed and is combined with surviving twin. It’s also possible that the spirit of the deceased twin remains anchored to the surviving twin. It’s estimated that V-TS occurs in 21 to 30% of twins or multi-fetal pregnancies. In my practice, I encountered such a situation, but the twin-flame soulmate was not part of his life’s desire.

As the surviving child matures, they believe that one half of their soul is missing when, in fact, they are missing a brother or sister. They seek the missing twin either through DNA projection and/or a search for the spirit of the child that is anchored to them in the outside world.

The Highest Form of Soulmates

Many mirrored souls mimic the Twin-Flame without having been fractured in half or shattered into pieces. Many feel that they are Twin-Flame Soulmates because of synchronous/asynchronous mirroring, merging, linked destinies, traditional soulmate chemistry, strong past-life connections and/or karma.

1. Synchronous Mirroring — One romantic partner appears to match the other partner with an uncanny duplication. They appear to be the same. If this were merely dual infatuation, it would be the golden shadow projected on the ideal mate, and it would wear off rather quickly in a period of days, weeks, or months. Or it might not if each partner were deep in denial. However, if it persists for a year or more and the two don’t grow tired or get bored with one another there may be enough growth frictional elements between them to keep each seeing each other as like-ones embodied in a variety of gender combinations.
2. Asynchronous Mirroring — The romantic partners share intermittent exact mirroring, opposite mirroring / intermittent opposite mirroring and/or all three possibilities at different times. This may produce a very shattered relationship, especially when driven by extreme passion and/or obsession.
3. Merging proceeds when one or both partners has little or no boundaries arising from childhood, teen or young adult trauma. They believe in “true love” (in the context of merging). This means a complete surrender to the other. Spirit merges and blending is experienced through platonic love or sexual escapades. When merging is linked with Synchronous or asynchronous mirroring combines with the merging process, the relationship is crazy-making because identities are blurred or lost. It usually ends quickly or is dragged out periodically in a cyclical pattern. When merging happens and ends quickly, one or both partners may be convinced that the Twin-Flame dynamic is (has been) in place when it has been an illusion of synchronous/asynchronous mirroring.

Highest Formed Soulmates/ Vanishing Twin Syndrome Combination

When higher forms of soulmate connections come into play with Vanishing Twin Syndrome, complications abound. The surviving twin (who may not know they had a twin) presents with the deceased twin’s absorbed DNA and the attached Spirit the desire and pull towards the “identified T-F Soulmate” is magnetic. This is a triply reinforced biologically, spiritually, and psychologically draw. If these two major factors are present, then it is highly unlikely that a belief in T-F Soulmates will ever be dissuaded.

Media/Profit Twin-Flame Romantic Lore

As we all look for security in a world teetering on the brink of existential death — through Climate Change and sea change it’s only natural to be swept up into the fantasies of romantic love. Politics and economies are in chaotic disarray, so that it’s no wonder more people are seeking soulmates or solace from within.

Sections of the Media — mainly internet and television and films fan the flames of fantasies in love for two major reasons:

1. Serial Monogamy is good for business. For divorce lawyers, florists, romantic dinners for two… you know the drill. Long term and short term based on these commercial fantasies are relationships are driven by money, profit and greed.
2. Fantasy of a Twin-Flame is more desirable in terms of anticipation versus delivery.

Twin-Flame Soulmate Reality

With the immense pressure towards completion from a greedy, needy, capitalistic machine looking for and exploiting new markets it’s no surprise that people feel incomplete — because we are programmed from every side in the world of commerce to believe that we need somebody, some “thing” or some experience to feel whole. This mindset comes from everywhere: parents, peers, advertising, mainstream media, films, and so on. Every goal met requires a new goal to be set because whatever goal we achieve it may feel empty — so we must do more to feel happy, to feel loved, to love — building towards a fever pitch.

I’m running out of breath just writing about it.

When we think and feel that we don’t get to be complete because we are a fragment of a spirit or soul inhabiting a body and a personality — the twin-flame soulmate syndrome becomes clear.

In my practice as a healer, I’ve occasionally seen clients who both are very passionate in life and with too much over-thinking that their passion becomes obsessive, especially regarding matters of partnered love. And why not? Merging and Mirroring feel so good, like a drug high. Could these attributed fuel the Twin-Flame idea — a capitalistic drive for the best in partnering?

Well, first, it may be the best to see all the parts of ourselves through mirroring. We often hide our shadow from ourselves. In the Twin-Flame dynamic, participants report experiencing their darkest shadows that are inescapable because of the draw of the beloved. But this does not mean that your soul is split in two to experience this element of mirroring.

Personalities and Soul Age

A person could be a late stage mature soul or an early to mid old soul whose personality is not in sync with their soul age. It could be the personality is mired in “sleep-at-the-wheel” behaviors, addictions and attachments to which they are completely unaware or don’t care. If this is the case, the Twin-Flame Soulmate is much more appealing to this individual.

A wounded personality may have an idea that their soul or spirit has been split apart because of the wounded and imprinted nature of their early life. This could become such a deeply imprinted notion that the only remedy is a solution that arises from another person — as in the twin-flame dynamic.

Twin-Flame Soulmates — Final Thoughts

If you are seeking your other-half as in twin-flame it’s likely that you are not a twin-flame soulmate.

The path finds you.

When Twin-Flame Soulmates find one another without seeking excessive hormone driven longing or shaping from the social gestalt, then a bond may be remembered and realized. The Twin-Flame is not based on a split, it is a metaphor for the divisive world of the last 6 to 10 thousand years of monetizing Spirit and everything else. Just as our learning curve and innate characteristics combine, and while in resting mode, sometimes the universe provides opportunities for growth. Some opportunities could point to our lifelong path or a soulmate, for example.

Human biological and spiritual constitutions have an inherent self-healing nature that is adaptive at least and robustly self-healing at best — without help from another source. Once we are focused on comfort, avoiding/ resisting pain and “fix-me” solutions, many of our inherent abilities are ignored and then atrophy.

The nature of the modern world is an artificial split between the inner and outer worlds in an oppositional stance between spirit/soul/essence of the core self or personality/ego. It is this illusory split that retards self-healing towards remembering that we are already whole and complete. When trauma and wounding begin healing, essence grows and becomes masterful in the face of illusion that threatens to make inner and outer slavery to illusions complete.

1. Number of twin and triplets in the world
2. Vanishing twins occur in up to one of every eight multifetus pregnancies and may not even be known in most cases. With 125 million twins or triplets in the world and 1/8 of them or 0.125th of the total multifetuses in utero that vanish make up 15 million vanished twins. Let’s say a very small number are mimicking twin-flame soulmates — say 1/36. For every vanished twin (triplet)— 1 of 36 are twin flame soulmates or 405,000 Twin-Flames. Or for every vanished-twin (triplet) at 1 of 10,000 vanishing twins are Twin-Flames then there would be 12,500 mistaken Twin Flames to the higher estimated 144K.
3. The word “twin” is indicative of associative, binary, polarity thinking of many of the Hindu Yugas except the Satya Yuga and possibly the Treta Yuga. We humans can not hold two thoughts in our heads at exactly the same time. We associate one thought with the next and jump back and forth between two thoughts at lightning fast speeds— thus binary thought that is often in polar opposite positions. This kind of thinking lends to the wish that two twins becoming one.
