Soulmate Partnerships — a primer in parts — (4)
LGBTQIA+, Emotional and Other Soulmate Relationships
Yin & Yang
Yang and Yin in LGBTQIA+ relationships may be more equitable/balanced than patriarchal heterosexual soulmate partnerships or marriages. Because gender has come out of the closet and is expressed more freely than it has been in recent history, people experiencing these freedoms are more flexible with the roles of yin and yang in gender and stretched-gender frames.
Soulmate partners whose love is expressed knows no bounds, thus any person, no matter what gender and/or sexual orientation bonds with their beloved. LGBTQIA+ gender and sexual orientation is more diverse and tolerant in their life view. Partners may hold yin and yang roles within each of their persons, or the attributes may be fluid between the two or more. Yin/yang may be reflected in Mars, Venus ways that may interact with evolutionary and revolutionary Uranus, for example in the birth chart or other planets, house placements that celebrate the differences from the hetero norm while also including them in a broader vision.
Emotional Soulmates
Emotion connections between two individuals range in feeling from a strong heart centered connection to a tender love that is so pure that it could become a spiritual love relationship or a long-term tender friendship. On a rare occasion, they can develop into a long-term bonding that transcends yin-yang into a spiritual-love with tantra sexual bonding links. The soulmate love connection based on the heart-love connection alone — yet with powerful energies transcending male and female (read Pluto, Uranus and sometimes Neptune influences) could form a sexual bond and yet without soul age maturity burns out the emotional bond — because of addiction issues.
There can be profound love between very close friends that does not spill over into romantic illusions. Because these relationships do not have yin-yang or female-male glue, they can last a lifetime without a deeper level of intimacy that is present in live-together sexual-bonded relationships.
Karmic Emotional Soulmates
When there are emotional bonds without traditional binary yin-yang fusions and elements of growth create gateways for people to meet, then a short-lived relationship can happen. These are intense relationships that burn hot over short periods of time anywhere from 9 months to two years. However, when intense-hot emotional relations spill over into marriage, they could easily become habitual and last as long as seven years.
These hot-burn relationships characteristic of emotional connections in the natal (birth) chart and the progressed chart (growth that is happening now) can erase a full or partial karmic debt if one or both parties become aware and can let go of the attachment. If one partner is aware and the other, oblivious, then the aware partner besides releasing attachment must create a strong boundary to block possible emotional re-attachment. This is sticky and often very messy emotionally.
Even if an in-person face-to-face relationship no longer exists, one or both partners through a higher-transcendent love may still meet in spiritual realms of in dreamtime due to freed karma and connections in previous lifetimes. Of course, there is more karma from those previous lifetimes that needs attention from a higher vibrational place.
Astrological Soulmate Tech Talk (easily skipped)
There are rare Mars-Venus synastries in an emotional soulmate connection. If there is, each partner could have Mars square Mars producing fighting if the sexual attraction is not there. If it is exists, there could be a lot of sex and a lot of fighting, but the love may not be strong.
The Moon figures prominently in emotional soulmate relationships. The Moon of both people’s charts can be connected by blending — conjunctions, trines — harmony or sextiles — ease. When the Moon is in a blended, harmonious or easy relationship with the other’s Neptune, an empathic bond is formed. When the Moon is related to Jupiter, joy and expansive bliss are accentuated. Moon could be related with Sun in the other’s chart or with Venus or Mars with connectiveness in emotional soulmates.
Asteroids such as Juno — one of the five larger asteroids meaning marriage comes into favorable connection with the other’s Juno, Mars, Venus, or Mercury could assist with an emotional soulmate connection.
Saturn and the Moon — Healing Parental Influences
Sometimes karmic emotional soulmates are about healing present life father and/or mother wounds. This can be seen from Saturn — authority to submissive the Moon in a relationship between charts. Saturn, while traditionally the father, can also be the mother if the child perceives the mother as the law-giver and enforcer of the family. This dynamic can also exist in the Mars-Venus or traditional lifelong partnership and does not only belong to any particular soulmate relationship. It is very karmic, of course.
It’s sad to have experienced my mother beaten down by my father’s insecure narcissistic tendencies so much so that she drifted into early dementia to escape his authoritarian grasp. There was only so much I could do to support her, since she had given up in my teen years.
