Top Writer, Top Pub, Top Earnings!

Oh, and did I mention CURATION?

I know I’m starting to piss some people off with my bragging, but then again I might inspire some to not lose hope, so I choose to do it for them. And myself.

In my first month on Medium (April 2022) I read endless Medium articles about people’s earnings. It wasn’t just curiosity. It kept me going, kept me writing and publishing.

Nothing much was happening for me, but knowing it was happening for others was a huge motivation. And I know it’s not just for myself because I see a lot of other writers reading these articles. I can see the stats, people, don’t hide, we’re all in the same boat.

I’m honestly on cloud nine because of how my Medium journey is unfolding.

At the beginning of June, I was telling you how happy I was with how everything seemed to explode in the first 3 days of the month. I won’t keep repeating it, but you can read it all about it here:

Everything seemed to cool down for a couple of weeks and then exploded again!

When I woke up this morning the first thing I read was: ‘chosen for further distribution’ and they were the sweetest words in the English language.

I scrolled a few more emails down and I read the words ‘Top Writer’ in ‘Writing’. It happened a couple of days ago and somehow I missed it. It’s my second Top Writer badge and honestly, I was even surprised by the first one, which was in Advice. I definitely did not expect a second one.

As if that wasn’t enough, the same story that was chosen for further distribution was also accepted by a top publication that I’ve been trying to get into since April: Better Humans.

You can read that story here:

I think that was the best part and I was so grateful.

Oh, no, wait, there’s another best part and it’s, of course, earnings.

We’re not even half month into June and I already exceeded how much I earned the entire month of May.

I won’t mention the number again, but in case you missed it, here’s the article with all the details:

It was a beautiful morning!

Grateful to have you all part of my journey and being part of yours! Let’s make it awesome!
